It is a bit galling that the only two matches we have lost all season are Liverpool and Tottenham. And unlucky to lose either…………..

Shall we see if we can squeeze Liverpool in at 19th for the dream relegation……..

What I find slightly disturbing is we currently have to high profile sports people in the news, following criminal convictions. Both received a 5 year sentence for their crimes( one served 2 1/2 years the, other is likely to serve 10 months) But it seems Ched Evans would seem to be regarded as more of a pariah in the media than Oscar Pistorious!

At the moment the league game, genuinely think anything possible league wise this early in the season. However come early next year might be different. I would however always take the FA Cup over the League Cup anytime.

As a Saints fan (and certainly not an England fan), I'd rather they weren't called up in the first place and then exposed to tapping up by the players of the so called big five, and Woy.

Let's face it, if Beckham had spent his entire playing career at Southampton he would only have won a fraction of the England caps that he did, and of course none of the trophies. Probably wouldn't even have won Victoria either!

You would have thought that if the ball did hit the advertising boards (which were very close behind goal, it was a very narrow perimeter strip) behind the goal and cannon back out, it would have been happening all the time. I do remember the incident, although not at the match, I seem to remember watching it on TV (although I may have been listening on the radio!).
