I might have 2 spare tickets available. They are Club Arsenal tickets so in with the Arsenal fans but the hardcore prawn sandwich brigade so you won't hear a peep out of them. I won't find out for sure until tomorrow by its 90% likely. If anyone wants them let me know and I'll get in touch once its confirmed.

Pretty sure Barnard scored against the skates earlier in the season too.

Emmanuel Mayuka - Officially Signed on OS - Work Permit Confirmed
sambosa75 replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Decent. Anyone got an idea of the sort of fee involved? -
I don't think he is at all. Lee's movement was a cut above for the few games he played last season. He was too good for the Championship by far in my opinion - just a shame he got injured. I'm really excited about him and know for a fact that very senior people at the club are too and can't believe they didn't face more competition for his signature when we signed him.

In the case you are probably familiar with the concept "mirror selling". Basically copying your propects mannerisms and movements to sub-conciously build empathy and rapport. A lot of this is NLP related. Most decent sales people will do this without even thinking. In fact, I'd go as far to say if you are doing it whilst thinking about, it will look forced and as if you are taking the ****.
-
Obviously goes without saying this is key too.
-
As far as I know Turkish you work in sales. If you do any face to face sales, NLP is huge. I used to run a recruitment firm and brought in an NLP guru who guaranteed x amount profit growth or his fee back. It worked an absolute treat.

This has been truly emotional. I love you all. Xxx

Guly speaks Spanish, so it's fine.

Regardless if we have or we haven't, I don't think it can be argued that we already spent a considerable amount of time on it. I'm just not going to be logging on, checking this thread constantly for updates and then start crying when it doesn't happen. Bologna know the deal on the table. It might not appeal that much to them now, but if they are in financial dire straits as is reported, one assumes it will look a damn sight better on Thursday/Friday next week, as long as no other offers are made for him in the meantime by anyone else.
-
I know but given that there has been a fair amount of speculation on every deal we have done so far, I'm starting to get a little twitchy that all our efforts are being focussed on getting this one over the line. Not working on any inside info, just a feeling. Happy to be proven wrong of course.
-
I'm saying no, purely because I think we need to move on and bring in other targets. I just think we cannot protract the negotiations any further. As good a signing as I think it would be, we have other areas far more in need of addressing.

You mean we aren't waiting for matey boy to come back from Uruguay with a signed document any more?
-
Has he not heard of a fax machine then? Instead he is flying to Uruguay to get a signature... great.
-
Anyone know on what basis it is generally accepted on here that a meeting is taking place? Has it been confirmed by anyone?
-
When it comes to a point where he refuses to play for a club he's contracted to, most certainly. I'm surprised you don't to be honest.
-
I'd be very surprised too. My point though is I think they'll be put off slightly by his refusal to play. You know you can still hand a transfer request in but retain some professionalism and put yourself up for selection still don't you?
-
So basically you are totally disregarding the fact that Cortese has pulled the plug on numerous deals in the past due to doubts over players attitudes? I'd be very surprised if Cortese and Adkins saw his actions today as a good thing.
-
Not sure. It's unprofessional. What happens if he signs for us and a year down the line he's courted by Liverpool or Spurs etc.. and he does the same thing?
-
I think him handing in a transfer request is evidence of this. I'm certain Cortese and Adkins would not condone him refusing to play for Blackpool though and to think otherwise is naive in the extreme.
-
Its not odd at all. Handing in a transfer request - fine. Refusing to play when contactually obliged to do so - very unprofessional.
-
Agree with this. Part of me sort of assumes the fact that Phillips has done this might well put Adkins and Cortese off signing him?
-
Lets keep this on topic ladies. This is a thread about Ramirez. Not a thread squabbling over Kevin Keegan.
-
Where did this myth come from that this is what you need? Who at Norwich or Swansea from last season would you put in to this category? The only side that did this last season was QPR and they very nearly went down.
-
It's not as if people are throwing around decent suggestions either though is it? A lot of people, not on this thread I must add, think we should sign Scott Dann FFS.
