So tell us, where are the prawn sandwiches? I've lobbied the club for years to offer healthy food but had assumed they'd ignored me. The opera is tonight after the game. too early to say if that will bean better than the football.

Wrong on every level! Maya - "This is my home"! Never doubt the word of a true gentleman.

More than that. Every PL club scout is looking for the next great young talent. If you were a kid and five clubs came knocking including Chelsea and Man U as well as us, would you choose SFC just because Gareth Bale used to be here?

There could be trouble (for you!) ahead...

Hard to tell, he was wearing his invisible cloak again. Seriously he was beyond awful, stopped every move in it's tracks whilst his brain tried to work out what to do next. As usual he relied on his stock in trade, a short offload back pass to a team mate for him to sort out.

Don't be silly.

You seem to be on Tadic's back a lot chum but were you actually there watching last night? Do you ever attend games at SMS? If so you'd realise that Tadic is one of the best playmakers we have. Last night he was assaulted physically by two effing great lumps of defenders every time he got near the ball. No wonder he couldn't get much going but he did more than most even so.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
Charlie Wayman replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Great car 'though, perhaps he was in town to collect it from a Porsche dealer? "Not for Sale" keeps ringing in my ears. Let's be realistic for a minute, has anybody at the Bridge ever heard of him? -
...and you came on here just to say that? Unbelievable!
-
Tough act to follow, big boots to fill. We'll be the poorer for his passing.
-
Try this? McCarthy Pied - Bednarek - Yoshida - McQueen Lemina - Classie Tadic - Hojberg - Boufal Austin Yoshi and Tadic needed to calm things down, Romeu on if things go pear shaped. Maybe Gabbi later if we are 6-0 up?
-
This is simply awful. I'd suggest a different career? ;-)
-
Shouldn't be a problem as the Sunday Express suggests that Chelsea are in for Cedric, Bertrand & van Dicke. That's 3 places made available..
-
This. Foster made a great save low down to his left and pushed the ball into a regulation safe area for the fullback to deal with except Bertie was asleep on the job. Bertie 100% to blame.

Something Spurs hoped for two years ago when they signed Toby alongside Vertongen. Nothing new there.

???? We scored twice at home to Sevilla the other night!

Nelly the Elephant? doh!

BOG Off!

What a strange thing to say unless you are being ironic. West Ham haven't played yet? Otherwise we must assume you are not a Saints supporter and have just come on here to stir the ****! Go away!

Great first performance from Pellegrino's men. Work in progress whilst he settles in the new players and gets everyone up to match fitness. Cautious team selection but predictable as Pellegrino seems to be a manager who does things incrementally, small changes at a time step-by-step but expect this team to be changed for next weekend. The Redmond/Boufal position is up for grabs in my book neither having the complete edge over the other. Also it'll likely be two from three with Davis, W-P and Lemina. Goals will come, the lads looked over-anxious about scoring maybe trying too hard after maybe too much focus on it in training but at least they are shooting first time from good positions more often than they ever did under Puel. Promises to be a great season. Who impressed me most yesterday? Probably Tadic who worked hard all afternoon, looked really committed again and didn't fade out of the game in the last 25 minutes. Not saying he was our MotM, just that he seemed to be back to his best and very settled. Obviously loves working with the new manager. Hope Bertie is not sidelined after having his foot done in yesterday, bit concerned that it looked to me very much like the VvD injury incident last season. On this showing we could do very well indeed so fingers crossed, stay calm, be positive and hold onto your seats.

What? I preferred his version. At least he had the icus elf not been English.
-
Yes but also some well reasoned arguments and not a little constructive understanding of our position. Not quite sure what upset you so much, they are under no illusions about why things are as they are
-
How does this work? If we decide either or both are surplus to requirements what happens next as presumably they are under contract and we cannot breach contracts either after all the vD politicking? Does that mean we cannot put them up for sale unless they agree? Or do we just pay off their contracts in full and they are free agents? what if no clubs come in for them does that mean we must keep them? Answers please from those who know how these things work...

Whoever you are, sorry old chap but most everything you post is utter tosh!
