Can't relax at 1-0, not when they're up against Emile.
-
5 appearances, 0 goals, 0 assists, 1 shot (that admittedly was on target), 4 fouls, 1 yellow card. Think that can safely be summed up as poor, being generous. [stats according to the OS]

is he moving to Swindon?
-
Of course we should try to sign Toby, whether it will happen remains to be seen, but thats a no brainer. As for the other two, neither have shown anything that would warrant taking them permanently, whatever the price. Better off getting Gaston back than having either of them next season.

Great, just think we can probably register Jos as well for our run in. Would be ideal for the Citeh game.

Very good. When will it be translated into Strine?
-
Until that point I think he was man of the match. I still don't think it was really all of his fault, it resulted from a ridiculous back heel from Pelle when he should have held on to possession, and Bertrand and K Davis are equally culpable. But good to see Maya manning up.
-
So he told you as well then?

Come on though, I am one of his biggest supporters, but those two "attempts" in the second half today were absolutely shocking. Like Pelle until recently he has completely lost his confidence in front of goal, needs to get one off his arse or something. Other than that he was OK today, nothing brilliant but not the shocker that some would have you believe. Should have had 3 assists last week if Tadic could shoot and if Morgan hadn't got in the way of Fonte's header. He also didn't cost us the win today, we went 2-1 up after both of his cock ups, we didn't win today because of our lack of top class keeper. Will be good to see Vic back next game, much as I rate Toby, he was very average in MF today, his clearances and passes were way below his usual standard. Mane is getting some stick for some dives, sure he did make a meal of two or three challenges, but the dickhead of a ref didn't think they were worth a booking, and some of the challenges on him by Spuds players were frankly shocking. Moss got it so wrong just before our first goal, but fortunately it worked out well for us. Great work by Long for the cross for Pelle's second. Great to see Pelle picking up his brace today, though have to say the rest of his game was not very good, and his casual back heel in the first half led indirectly to their goal. On the whole though it was good to see us attacking today, with some flair, back to how we were early in the season, after some turgid performances since we beat the Gooners.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED

So Liverpool it is then. -
We'd probably be docked points for playing too many subs as well :-)

Excellent news. The boy is very lucky if this is the case. Still believe it when I see it.

Tonny Vilhena hands in transfer request at Feyenoord
VectisSaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I guees that's like saying Koeman prefers Schneiderlin to Tadic. Different types of player (one DM, one AM). One presumably fits the Feyenoord system better than the other. -
Will Wood and Armani Little sign professional deals

I guess this is the time when traditionally we trot out Forbes Phillipson-Masters jokes. -
Just out of interest anyone know what our satellite office in Spain does? I thought booking flights for Gaston was a thing of the past.

Don't know if that was just a punt, but I think he really does have an older sibling called Chanel Lucky Little. Both born in Portsmouth. I really would not like to speculate whether Chanel Lucky would be a brother or a sister. -

Then we get players like Kenwyne, have to make sure the first name is "plain" as well. -
Noticed that, really is bizarre that a hack seems to think performance this season is correlated to wages last season.

No. Red cards in non-first team matches will take effect from the 14th day following dismissal. Read more at http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/suspensions#TDihJia5jWe5BSaG.99

Reed got two yellows for two very rash challenges. Very lucky boy that his teammates got him out of trouble. Super strike from Sam Gallagher, he was so different after he moved inside and went up front once Seager was taken off. Seager's goal also good strike, though he got a bit lucky when Reed's pile driver cannoned off him. Thought nearly everyone looked good tonight, but credit to Blackburn, they have some very good players, especially given that many of them are u18s. Pity the forum has been crap tonight, still seems like Steve is aware.

1-0 Seager

I'm sure RK would not say anything ill informed either. The fact that it "popped back in" (usually referred to as "reduction") is usually good news. But until he has had x-rays and follow ups the extent of the damage will not be known, there could be an associated fracture, in which case surgery will be required. Clearly that had not happened when RK made his comments, might have had x-rays today if swelling had gone down sufficiently. But the dislocation will still have damaged muscles and other soft tissues. After reduction the shoulder is usually immobiised for 3-4 weeks, so I would suggest best case scenario is that he could be back for Man City game.Oddly enough one of the techniques for reduction is called the "Mane Technique".Wish Toby well.
-
It may have popped back in, as Koeman said, but that does not mean he will be ready to play again. There will need to be follow up to see if any fracture occurred and there will have been serious damage to tissue in the area. Unless we are very lucky I doubt we will see Toby playing in a Saints shirt again this season. I'd love to be proved wrong of course, but it is probably 12-16 weeks to fully recover from a dislocated shoulder.
-
He hasn't. Doesn't mean two people can't be "close". But they are.
-
Suspect the Krul part has legs, RK and Krul are close, and we will need a new keeper, preferably one with good PL experience for next season, need to work on the principle that FF will not play (much of) next season, and we need to good keepers anyway. Think Janmat is just linking Dutch players with us because of RK, think its unlikely that Newcatle would part with the player that they seem to have lined up as their new skipper.
