Just wrong on so many levels.
  2. Bundesliga 2, they came 5th last season, equivalent to our Championship. Would say its a fairly stern test for the kids for a first kick about of the season, much higher standard than we usually start with.
  3. No change there then.
  4. ...and given he was ill on Monday (and that was ill not "ill").
  5. Are you sharing with Erwin?
  6. LOL, Mr Crusty Poster himself.
  7. OK, so you're not a kid that knows **** all. You have an opinion and that's fine, I think your opinion is a very narrow one and that you are ignoring other real possibilities that can occur in the real world. I don't have a defined view of what might happen in the future, I know there is a broad range of possibilities that might unfold, and what will be will be. If I had to guess at what might happen in this crazy football world, I would think that the probability of you being right is about 80%.
  8. But he won't leave unlesd someone takes him and gives CL. You know there are other possibilities than us selling him. I understsnd this may difficult for fm generation to understand.
  9. or he'll stay longer, sign extended contract and do what a player is supposed to do under contract. Getting a fee for him is not the only possible outcome, and is not necessarily the best outcome for Saints. Some people seem to lose sight of this and think we have to sell everyone eventually. I don't recall getting much of a fee for Le Tiss. Best option for Saints is he stays, he is our best player and is the best DM in the PL. If he leaves for a massive fee now, then so be it, but it has to be for the amount we value him at.
  10. Mugabi injured as well as Bertrand so with Clyne gone and Targett not back in pre-season until next week, and only 3 contracted first team CBs the need to pull in some cover is paramount with so many games coming up in the next few weeks. I'm sure Martina will be a good squad player, if the Koemans (Koemen?) think he will be.
  11. I thought they were travelling on Wednesday. Kick-off is not until 7pm local time. Unless United or anyone else comes in with an offer that meets our expectations (27m?) then Morgan will be staying with us, which is the best option. Morgan leaving is not a slam dunk like some on here and in the media seem to think.
  12. Its really more of an hypothesis than a theory.
  13. It is amazing how reporters twist a story, this has been put up on BBC reference Morgan http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33415617 Apparently a bid has been received from Manu for Morgan and Morgan missed first day of training. They seem to have overlooked some minor points about this, the offer was a couple of weeks ago, and Morgan was at first day of training which was last week. I used to respect BBC reporting, but really it is as trashy as just about everything else.
  14. Koeman said it was to increase numbers of defenders, as will the second player they are planning to bring in. We are light defensively, in terms of numbers. Made worse by Targett not being back for pre-season until next week.

Toby got married last week, I think his interest in Ron is a thing of the past, if it ever was a thing.

You are right to a large extent. Almost certain though that the contract would be under the jurisdiction of neither England or Spain, more likely a "neutral" country, Switzerland would be a good choice (ha ha). The contract would normally be "written" in both languages, but it is the jurisdiction term that is critical, since that is where any judgement would take place. We of course would have got our legal eagles on this in the first place, and now our team will be certain of what they included, and will check with the person responsible for the legal team at SFC, i.e. the CFO, oh wait, he left today by mutual consent. ********.

Breach of contract is a civil law matter, you cannot be convicted of a breach of contract, it is not a criminal offence. The remedy for a civil case will be through a civil judgement.
  18. Proof if needed that you are blind as well as ...... Maybe not Clyne, but just about any other player who has ever left us (Rickie excepted).
  19. Morgan is not very well. Apparently he is ill not "ill".
  20. Except that Targett will be 2 weeks behind pre-season as he is not due back until next week (along with Prowsey). Gives them only a couple of weeks before Europa League.
  21. Spurs only need to check out Linkedin to see that he is available immediately: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/david-bence/30/a62/927
  22. Sounds much like how some on this forum react when someone is rumoured to be leaving. It usually has little to do with the technical ability of the player.
  23. Responsible for the Toby contract. ****ed up?
