This! Ok my view is based on Sky match choice highlights, but Fox was caught out of position and ball watchinng at least 4 times. Two of tose occassions led to their goals. The problem is that his poor defensive positioning pulls the rest of the defence across to cover for him, Yoshida with Defoe for their first a case in point. I'm quite sure that if we could solve the Lb problem we would be fine. Clyne, Fonte and Yoshi are perfectly Ok Imho. Watching the highlights we really did not look as bad as it seemed reading the remarks on here yesterday and listening to Whispering Dave. With Ramirez, Lee and Cork to come in we cohld be ok. Do we still have 1 space in the squad for a free agent?

I'd go further, Mayuka to start and finish. Just a thought, but when do the easy games start? WBA away, this season they have been mustard at home.

There aren't many (any?) that are just so interminably negative as Alpen, now I remember why I always go to home matches (except today), its to avoid being depressed by our little Austrian bundle of joy.
-
Actually they conceded 3 and still got a 2-2 draw thanks to an appalling offside decision at the end.
-
Why is it bizarre? Making stupid comments about relegation and transfer windows on a match thread, that is bizarre, but then we all know you are bizarre.

Sometimes when you have nothing good to say it is better to say nothing.

Looks remarkably 4-4-2 like team, or possibly 4-2-3-1. I assume the order of the team does not reflect their positions in any way, I prefer Morgan in MF to defence :-)
-
It appears that you certainly are, well done for outing yourself.
-
So glad you can't be assed, it was a tongue in cheek comment. Sense of humour failure on your part, like a few others on here.

Thanks, but I would need 2, my daughter would kill me if I went without her. Hopefully someone else will be interested.

Must admit I didn't notice Cork, perhaps I've forgotten what he looks like. If so then that's good news.

This whole 4-3-3 thing has gone beyond a joke. We haven't played 4-3-3 every game and Adkins has changed the system round many times already this season, 4-4-1-1 and 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 have all been used at times. He said that about 4-3-3 during his "30 minutes of gloom" after the WHU defeat before he put his positive head back on and discovered poetry.

Only Cork and Richardson seem to be longish term, quite clear from SaintsPlayer that GR is not far off, Lee has been training for some time already, and Fox's injury is somewhat mysterious, I didn't know you had a hamstring in your groin. It really wouldn't surprise me to see Ramirez and Lee on the bench for tomorrow. I can't make up my mind whether I want Fox to be fit or not :-) Really ****ed off actually to be missing the game, and with it not on TV either. Bloody plastics buying tickets for games before I got mine :-(

No, a defeat will leave us in exactly the same position as we are now (apart from a worse GD and 1 game less to play). Do you consider we are already cut adrift? I think we will lose tomorrow, but was just pointing out a fact, that the margins are still very small between the bottom and the middle of the league.
-
3 points tomorrow will see us in 16th above Villa and Norwich and within touching distance of another few teams.
-
Well in my opinion Wigan were much worse.
-
Ok, Arteta will do
-
It sticks in my throat a bit but come on Arse. A goal from Walcott now would be good.
-
Always look on the bright side of life, hey Alps?

He was certainly involved in training, and can be seen playing, not just light training. NA said Lee was back in training today, when clearly he has been training for some time. He also mentioned Fox had been out with hamstring, thought it was a groin.

cheese on toast board? Pity that a few people have a problem when someone dares to show a bit of intelligence. Not sure I much like the poem itself, but its refreshing to see something other than the usual brain dead responses from football managers and footballers. At least I could understand it, unlike listening to Fergie slurring his words or Redkrapp talking ****** in a cheeky chappy cockney way.

Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
VectisSaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well its not worth discussing managers that could not work with NC. For a start they will not get appointed, and secondly why would we want a manager, any manager, that cannot work with the Chairman? Sometimes I wonder if some people actually think about what they post, but I guess when you post so much there cannot be much of a thought process. Thought you were not going to be around for a day or two, disappointing development if thats not true. -
Where is the option for Adkins?
