I read earlier that Chelsea are looking at potentially a further 8 exits before the window slams shut (admittedly this came from the Express so it is probably bollox). With Aubemyang being lined up I can see Broja being one of those 8, he isn't going to get much game time this season.

I don't get Moi over Stu, but otherwise that's probably not too bad. Not been a good day for Saints so far, with the u18s and Women both losing but I think we have a chance here against United. 😉

Rupert Lowe and his buget axe were responsible for Mings being released, and he went about getting back into football the hard way, initially at Millfield School and then through non-league Yate and Chippenham before being picked up by Ipswich. He's actually a really level headed, down to earth guy, despite what Souness might have you believe, and well liked among his contempories around here. I think that Lowe probably finished Mings with Southampton, left a bitter taste.

If Perraud starts (which would be harsh on Djenepo) then Djenepo def needs to be a sub, Adam, Mara, Moi, you're right its difficult to see another impact sub, unless we have a new striker by then.

Not true, Valery got in the Birmingham team straightaway, played 7 times for them, but they brought in Lee Bowyer and he was never included again, possibly because he criticised his new teammates, possibly just Bowyer not wanting him, anyway he was frozen out, not because he wasn't good enough.

Kane and Son didn't score, we obviously nullified that threat. 😉

Didn't realise that there are 3 less teams in PL2 this season, meaning Div 2 now only has 11 teams. Means 6 less league matches for the B team, which is not good for development. Important for the B team to get back to Div 1 playing against the best teams and playing more regularly. Burnley, Birmingham and Reading have all left.

Mings is clearly looking out at Villa, but I'm pretty sure that he would not consider Saints again, we fucked him off royally when Lowe released him.
