  1. That will probably get appealed.
  2. Were they singing Saints go marching in then? That's disgraceful.
  3. If only this were true. It's not the same for everyone. Each match is handled differently, and clearly some big teams and Liverpool are getting different treatment. Decision as to whether VAR should check a decision is still not consistent. VAR should be a good thing but the implementation is at fault and the offside law should be changed.
  4. Yorkshire Terrier called Skippy. Unusually for club nicknames it is a reasonably recent thing, a marketing ploy dating from 1969. They were always referred to as Town back in the day.

    Che Adams

If yu are going to use Ricky Lambert as a benchmark then you will wait a long time for a new striker to live up to that. Absolutely ridiculous, bit like Wayne Rooney comparisons, these were exceptional players, the like of which you won't see very often again. One of the reasons they were exceptional was their stature, big physical guys, Rooney especially as a teenager. Che is not meant to be that sort of player. If you want to use a benchmark J Rod is a much better comparison or even Danny Ings (who transitioned to the PL well). Adams will come good, but granted it is a bit frustrating waiting for it to happen.
  6. Doubtful, went off at half time, presumabkly due to injury against Bournemouth at the beginning of December and hasn't feature since. Would imagine Smallbone, Slattery and Vokins are the likely youngsters to feature today, maybe Ramsay.
  7. Not to mention the anti Redders clan, the anto Romeu clan. Thankfully the anti Steve Davis clan (if you can call 3 people a clan) don't seem to be so prevalent these days. Then of course there is the Cult of Cortese. Still good to see the Happy Clapper clan seems to be making a bit of a comeback.
  8. I meant they were always slow, but I was trying not to offend anyone on here who might be a parent or whatever of one of them ?
  9. To be pedantic its after 19 matches this season for yellow cards. For 10 it's now match week 32. Yellows also do not carry over to FA Cup, although straight reds do. Makes no difference to us, no one is suspended, or even close.
  10. Really can't see why anyone would leave Leeds willingly this season, just when they finally look like making the step up. You'd have to be a bit mental.
  11. I honestly don't think they have been trained to be slow.
  12. Whether that's true or not (happen to disagree with you) the club should still acknowledge his existence.
  13. Surprised, Cascarino. ? He is a cock.
  14. Wish someone would provide a definitive update on Sam McQueen. I hear rumours that he might not play again but he seems to have become the forgotten man for Saints. Clearly nowhere near being back to fitness as yet, and that's now well over a year.
  15. Not everyone.
  16. and how was that Andy's fault? Doesn't Watson do the subs?
  17. Would like to know what Andy Sparkes said or did to wind up Mourinho. Whatever it was can I just say, well done, couldn't have happened to a bigger ****.
  18. Agreed, but as backup along with Yoshida and Danso we would be silly to try to get someone else in. We need to strengthen here but not till the summer. Not forgetting we still have Hoedt, who knows he could be transformed like (according to some on here) Stephens. The likelihood of finding someone better than the current CB pairing in the January window is slim. Our record in the past couple of seasons is there for all to see in this position, why would this month be any better?
  19. Doubt he would come back, but if fit would be a good option given that he can play on both wings.
  20. Only if Vestegaard does go, and apparently the deal is off. Otherwise its a must for next window. FB, MF and striker should be the priority for this window. We have no cover in MF, look at our bench today, 3 strikers, 2 CBs and OR.
  21. Gesundheit
  22. Kitzbichler
  23. Richard Kitzbichler? Appointed end August, took some time to have an impact. Doesn't mean its all down to him, but simply having a trusted associate acting as a sounding board and taking some of the responsibility from Ralph's shoulders makes a lot of difference.
  24. Great result and performance. Having a generally settled side seems to be working a treat, maybe its also the Kitsbichler effect. Clean sheet at home, Ings with another, penalty wrongly overturned. To thin one more point to equal Fulham 19th place total last season, and only 9 to equal Cardiff's 18th, and with 17 games to go. Getting a nose bleed looking at the table. For probably first time in my life hoping for a ManU win, rather like being above Arsenal.
  25. Mourinho acting like Mourinho. He is a tit.
