Thought we played ok yesterday given the way Tranmere set themselves out. As to the debate about Antonio - he's a winger and they can be the most frustrating type of player. Yesterday he wasn't at his best but I give credit to the way the opposition played him - absolutely no space at all and in the main doubled up on him. In the end 3 points to the better team and we move onwards and upwards. Next up (league wise) are the current table toppers and TBH we should go there with no fear, as personally I feel we will be given more space to play our game. I'm hoping for a win but a draw will do. COYRAWM!

Thats the bit that really annoys me. They compare our saviours with our nemesis! If that's how the Echo see things then I'm afraid they may well lose me as a customer.

Its the age we live in - fiscal prudence hasn't been all the rage for years but believe me its on its way. Buy buy buy and sod the consequences has been the mantra. Mr Liebherr has never (despite his wealth) lived by that mantra and thats one of the reasons he is so wealthy. I'm sure that Saints will become wealthy and not just in money terms, wealthy in talent - from top to bottom on and off the field under the ownership of Mr Liebherr and the stewardship of Mr Cortese but, it isn't going to be overnight - thats what truly puts a smile on my face.
