Him and Guly are the only ones that come close to matching Hammond for workrate during a match - all excellent players

Ha, great idea! We should leave a bucket outside each stand for the Blackpool game with a sign saying "Skate Collection: Contribute whatever you want". Shotgun not being the one that has to take them home afterwards though, probably best to send them to Fr*tton immediately!

Haha, pretty much describes a typical awayday for me! Anyone every managed the holy trinity of Mcdonalds, Burger King and KFC all in one day? It'd have to be a particularly long distance away trip admittedly

Standard ****ing procedure for a player to get immediate ****ing treatment following a substitution if he's carrying a ****ing injury, as Lambert was with his hip. Now **** off you absolute ****.

Are people still waiting for Pompey ticket email?

See you at Fratt*n lads! -
Brighton trotted out this argument at the end of last season but, let's be honest, who remembers 1st if it's in the second division? We'll have still been out performed by the likes of Wigan/Bolton/Swansea/Norwich/QPR. Don't get me wrong, supporting Saints is outstanding at the moment and going up as champions would be huge achievement, but only slightly huger than going up 2nd; we'll have finished 22nd as opposed to 21st in the football league pyramid. On an aside, anyone else wondering how West Ham are financing their promotion push? Remember Gold/Sullivan last season saying relegation from the Prem would be "armageddon" for them..

Good to see Cardiff progressing nicely (toward the inevitable defeat to City/Liverpool in the final), it'll distract them from the league

Just thinking of our last two games.. Thought we played Hull at a good time, they played well but can't help feeling they'd have stood more chance under Pearson (no disrespect to Barmby) Conversely, it seems we played Bristol City at the wrong time; they couldn't buy a win earlier in the season and are now a completely different force under McInnes Anybody remember playing someone at a particularly good/bad time in the past (we seem to have had our fair share of "new manager syndrome" matches iirc!)? Does this even itself out over a season or does anybody remember a particularly good/bad season for this?

That's not bad to be honest!

I'll give them a fiver, what a beautiful insult that would be. Bless em.

Agree with OP, some people just like a scapegoat unfortunately though

I had 42 jaffa cakes today

Barely gets a mention? I rarely turn on the TV without hearing about the death of a soldier. IMO the tragedy is that the reporting so frequent that each passing death has less impact on people; we have become used to it.

...every defeat this season Admittedly there haven't been many, but it's the first time I've still had this 'record' in late November! And before I'm labelled a bad omen, I've seen my fair share of wins as well!

So what is our best performance of the season?

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/12772-Juke-3-million-to-Southampton Sorry if already posted, but Cov fans' views here. General consensus is take the money, despite accepting it won't be spent on the team! They just hope it'll be enough for SISU to be happy to walk away with - madness. "We're down anyway and we'll see none of the money. I'm past caring to be honest!" It shouldn't have, but that made me laugh! -
what's the interest rate likely to be ...

Er... yes. Hospitality staff, admin staff etc -
Here's Mr Brennan's website. Strangely no mention of Ted Bates http://www.ianbrennan.co.uk/ but he's not a bad craftsman when it comes to animals and shields...

Haha, best caption pic I've seen which, ironically, is best served without a caption!

Wasn't his record something like 3 wins from 17 when he was put on gardening leave? Probably wouldn't have lasted much longer in the job regardless.
