True. However, according to some posters on here he would probably do a better job for us than Wotton.

This. We do not exist. We are sharing the same collective dream. A bit like Vanilla Sky and The Matrix. Outside of our conciousness Pulis captains England, and Lowe is viewed as a legend who has transformed the beautiful game. In the real world we just beat Real Madrid 4-0 in a pre-season, and are odds-on to win the Euro-Premierleague for the third year in a row. It's true - the cat just told me. Or maybe the Merlot.

An ITKer on world porn, on a footie website? Are we about to sign Justin Fashanu?

What about the Frogs, Eitays and Belgians. Benders the lot of them. Clearly a fix.

Ace. ......and the adverts are great too.

Picked up a copy of 'The Curious Indcident of the Dog in the Night-Tie'; was well thought of when it came out a few years back. Somehow though I can't get the enthusiasm to start it...... Is it worth reading?

20 questions to get the name?

Really liking this show. The first one was weakest of them so far - was a bit disappointing. Have laughed at lot at every episode though. Morgan Freeman Lamb; Basil Brush holocaust denier; 'You might be Keyser Soze but you wouldn't know good theatre if it grabbed your **** in the park'

Died tonight aged 61. Great player, superb entertainer, complete nutter. RIP.

Mar......Marmoset. mmmmm; monkey spread.

Looks like a nasty case of 'pink hand syndrome'. Do people recovering from Malaria normally have to lay off the beer?

Pretty sure I applied to this job. Was an advert via an agency about 2 months ago for a Commercial Manager for a 'major sports club on the south coast'; responsibilities being leading the ticket sales, sponsorship, marketing, corporate stuff. Chucked my CV in speculatively and didn't get anywhere (I don't really have the background tbf). Can't think of too many other places it could have been.

Good signing. Completely out of the blue it seems. Can we therefore assume that there is now no longer such a thing as an 'ITK poster'? Death to the rumours, long live the unexpected, quality signings.

Always loved his act, in a kind of 'why the hell am I finding this funny?' way. Young age to go too. RIP.

Into the last 16. Good team. Technique, movement, passing, teamwork, tempo. Really entertaining. If England could play like that I would be very happy.

Some of the Japanese players at the world cup are excellent. The striker, Honda, CDAJFU. Excellent touch.

Children's parties?

NC is the new Chuck Norris! BTW - type 'Where do I find Chuck Norris' into Google, and choose 'I'm feeling lucky'. Old, but fun.

Yep. I can only assume that the players we are tracking are too busy playing in the World Cup to finalise their new Saints contracts now. Well, maybe.....

Just finished 'Earth, Air, Fire, Custard' by Tom Holt. Really couldn't get on with it. Bought it for a holiday read. Disliked 'In Your Dreams' too; was a present. I generally enjoy comic novels; and magic/fantasy stuff does not put me off, so should really like Tom Holt. But these two books are just not fun to read. Not bad exactly, just dull and hard work. Would rather spend the time picking my feet.

I am inclined to agree with you! A new midfield general is a good idea! We need a new Marsden! Vassell is a nice idea! But his wages would be too high! I fear! I am going for a beer! COYRS! !

So a couple of us went into Winchester tonight for a quick beer - anywhere but the Charlie. Ended up in the Weatherspoons, paying £1.65 for a pint of Ruddles. Yep: £1.65. Not my favourite beer, but hey... I am no fan of Weatherspoons, but that is a good price. And at 7pm on a Saturday night it is a decent place to spend an hour. Granted when we went back there at 9:30 after an inpromptu curry it was full of chavs and slappers, but still: £1.65. Surely it is not too hard to provide reasonable beer at acceptable prices?

Too many classic films to mention. Seems to have been around for ever. Strangely about an hour ago, well before I heard the news, a group of us were discussing his role in Apocolyse Now over a cheapy curry in Winchester. Sad loss. And I rarely say that about the Hollywood sect. RIP.

The Cart & Horses is pretty good. Very much a gastro pub, but with a nice, though small 'drinking area'. Will never be a 'village pub' but is okay. £3.00 a pint too - and excellent beer: really good. It has been my new local over the past month, but a 15/20 minute walk is just a bit too far. Never been to the infamous Kings Worthy club...heard it is crap though. Cheap beer, but basically a 'vilage hall' with a bar in it. Might be forced to take a look now; it is where all the old-school locals from the 'Charlie' go. I want my old local back!
