I think we are one top player away from being a good side again and Afridid could be that man. We have some good youngsters in Vince, Briggs and Howell must of saved about 15 runs with his fielding last night. Dimi bowled superbly, Cork came back well after a bad first over - no point in a 6 -3 field if you bowl towards middle-leg! Wood took some stick but kept going and I thought Briggs bowled well with no luck. Having Lumb and Adams back as openers showed what we have beem missing - a great partnership and understand each other so well with the running. If Vince can get his head down he will be an England international(that and moving to Middlesex or Surrey ;-) Great win....bit puzzled by Corks outburst but good to see a captain defend his team I suppose.

Agreed...we had no acceleration in the batting and without Dawson we would of been humiliated....well we were anyway but you get my drift. What was Ervine doing out there...he was apalling and needs dropping. The bowling...I didn't think we bowled too bad but didn't get any luck, the turning point was Jones he had O'Brien where he wanted him after hitting him on the hand and then bowled 2 wide balls short that allowed him to crack 2 fours and get back in it. We miss Adams, Lumb, Carberry and Pothas badly.

I'm with you - yes I believe but why would I want to preach to people. Its their choice - I have my faith they have their own beliefs no way am I good enough to preach to them or try and convince them. I have seen the power of belief and faith thats good enough for me.
