  1. I understand fully why some people feel the way you do and for that reason, personally I don't want him back because I think he is a crap man manager and not what we need and his time at Spurs and Wolves proved that.
  2. well....which was exactly what? He won what? Can you show me his achievements as a manager since he left us and before that holds certain members on here to bleat on and on for 6 years? Here are his stats: As a player manager Chelsea * FA Cup runner-up: 1994 [edit] As a manager Tottenham Hotspur * Worthington Cup runner-up: 2001–02 So nothing apart from keeping us up.....so did many other managers that dont have nutjobs harping on at every opportunity.
  3. Why? Have you compared the two? I am not saying I would be happy with Brown but he did really well at Hull until he hit the self destruct button. Hart on the other hand has done nothing anywhere to appoint him as anything other than BBC man.
  4. I think the decision to stick with the likes of Vince ahead of Peiterson has been the best one made this season at Hampshire.
  5. Have you heard about KP rant on twitter??? Dont think he will get picked for Pakistan T20 and apparently has signed for Surrey.
  6. 1256: Just breaking away from transfer news for a brief moment or two. According to Sky Sports, Southampton are looking to appoint Paul Hart as their new manager. Remember, Saints, who won 4-0 on Saturday, sacked Alan Pardew on Monday. On BBC live transfer news
  7. Gosh hindsight is great isn't it!!! Not yet but if the rumour about Hart is true....yes I will change my mind!! 8. I posted this elsewhere but your post rings very true....a mates nipper is at the academy - ALL wingers have been told to keep cutting inside and not go outside. All the teams have to play the same way as I said earlier I like that bit but to keep playing narrow at home against teams shutting up shop will never work. Perhaps that was what some of the new staff didn't like but I was also told that Liebherr put great faith in our academy long term and wanted ust to produce our own and to keep buying was unsustainable financially. No-one with any sense can doubt that and it was one of the things I applauded loveable old rosey cheeks for...its just that you cant build the whole team with them!
  9. Oh God not Alain Perrin.....another ex Pompey agent ;-)
  10. Ince??? Italian connection as well
  11. I was at a party last night with a parent of one of the academy lads and all the teams have been told to play narrow. The wide men have been told to keep cutting inside and not to keep going wide outside. Whilst I like the idea that all the teams play the same way - it goes against everything I love in wing play where getting to the byeline and outside and cutting it back is the way I think is the answer to packed defences.
  12. Doesn't make a difference who comes here....they will be gone within 6 months when we haven't won...the league, FA Cup, JPT and qualified for Europe!!! My money is on Zola.
  13. Absolutely mental!!!!!
  14. I noticed also the wording...."that ownership of Southampton Football Club shall remain solely within Markus' family's personal interests" so nothing to do with Mali group is my interpretation.
  15. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2128238,00.html As we were then - good news I believe.
  16. Yep he now is the only other one on ignore I have on here ...don't normally do that as I believe everyone is entitled to post and express themselves but years of posting the same untruth has worn me down.
  17. Have you ever thought of having therapy you are obsessed....what do you hope to achieve by your constant posting of what is not the truth? Yes there were a minority that voiced their displeasure but it was the board and Lowe who never ever in any other circumstance let anything stop him making a decision decided not to go ahead. How do you know he wouldn't of done a Spurs or Wolves...you don't so FFS stop posting that crap over and over again. FYI I wasn't one of them...did I want him back..not on your nelly as it hardly ever works out going back. Did I want Sturrock, Gray, Dutch experiments, Wigley......no but they are a long line of wrong decisions made by the same people that you fail to accept didn't bring back your idol yet you can't see that.
  18. I have always thought you deluded by not listening to the reasons why your messiah was never re-appointed but this proves you are actually deranged!!! Can you explain when he was 'successful'? Certainly not at Spurs or Wolves!!! As a player manager Chelsea * FA Cup runner-up: 1994 [edit] As a manager Tottenham Hotspur * Worthington Cup runner-up: 2001–02
  19. My lad is on a cricketing course run by HCC and Dimi was there coaching. What a great role model for the kids ...nothing was too much trouble. He is having an op on his achilles soon so will be out for about 6 months - ready for start of next season.
  20. I thought McKenzies innings last night was superb, he knew there wasn't much batting to come so took no chances but just placed the ball around the ground. He took a while to settle but has been brilliant and hope he comes back next year. Good cameo's from Razza and Dawson.
  21. We look in a bit of trouble at the moment...not much batting left. 45-3 chasing 177.
  22. Rowan Vine. Also why does he have to be a back up....why cant we play 2 big lumps up front in some games?
  23. It can be done for new ones then as we have the roads around the Dell and County Cricket ground - rename Staplewood academy as suggested is a great idea.
  24. Agreed not a statue - rename the roads, stand or even the Liebherr Stadium.
  25. I know am sat here watching it trying to care but to be honest at the moment its hard to watch without thinking about Saints and Markus. He played for us under Wotte.
