I agree Gemmell apart from the fans bit...there was a great 20 minute rendition second half but the team gave nothing back...nor did the manager.
-
I lost quite a bit of respect for him on Saturday...any manager that makes one tactical change until 81 minutes when you are 0-2 down has me worried. There were loads of things he could of tried, Lallana in the middle, Dickson and Harding on the left, try Doble or Harlee Dean even changed Oscar for Hammond or MS. We should never ever play MS and Hammond at home again in the middle.

Isnt it time to name-and-shame "the group behind the scenes" ?

Great post Teddy....if it will shut Dalek up once and for all I will admit it....even though I wasn't one of them. I didn't think he was the right man then and still don't now. Why....this says it all for me. In the run up to 1998 FIFA World Cup, he scored a hat-trick in a game for England B; despite this, he was controversially overlooked by manager Glenn Hoddle for the final squad, a decision that the player himself cited as a hiatus in his career after which his form never fully recovered.[15] Ironically, given his reputation for penalty taking, England exited the tournament after losing to Argentina in a penalty shoot out. -
Didnt sell enough last year?

I thought he also had a cracking game at left midfield at home to MK Dons - he never gave a pass away and his pace down the left caused them problems. Playing deeper meant he wasnt always offside either ;-)

Not that much of a fan that he used to work as an academy coach at Staplewood

Do you think this is new...or just since moving to SMS? I remember the stick (quite rightly) given to Melia and the atrocious Lew Chatterley at The Dell. Every club has fans that boo have you forgotten Arsenal treatment of Eboue, did u not hear Rooneys reception the other week? Players get boo'ed for reasons Fuller was a lazy **** before he went to Ipswich..he worked his arse of when he came back and the fans responded by chanting his name and applauding him. -
Anyone know of a good tumble dryer engineer..

If your local to Soton try Harraps who have shops in Shirley and Totton - we have used them several times and they have never let us down yet. -

Because I see things through rose tinted glasses....I cant see any of 'stars' leaving yet if they do they will be replaced. Both Adkins and Cortese have said there is money to spend ...also just maybe Lambert may have found the net by then as well. -

An alternative view to Adrians....if its off its one less game to play with our squad - the re-arranged game may come after Jan 1st and we may have recruited by the time the game is replayed. -

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11841783 so they waited until 3 days before the vote for something that happened in the 90's. It came across to me like a sad bitter old man plotting revenge on FIFA.

Like an international manager dealt with Le Tissier you mean...yeah good plan.

We will be releasing a dvd if we win.

I went yesterday and the one thing that stood out for me was he was far too deep again. He spent a vast percentage in our half not up on the last man like he should of been meaning we only had Guly who was getting beat too easily. If I had been manager I would of had a word as well! Lamberts link up play has been good but thats only half of the job and like someone else said he never went for goal when he should of yesterday.
-
Jaidi was brilliant again...he is a stopper thats his job ..he does not need to ping 40 yard balls to teammates. He never lost a tackle again and won loads of dangerous interceptions on the floor. I wish people would actually watch what he does game by game rather than posting to try and be popular. Lallana MOM outstanding today. Probably the worst first half performance this season I have seen - far too slow and pedestrian. At least with Oxo up through the middle we gave them a few different problems second half.
-
What is it with you obsession with our chairmen....you didn't take long to go into ruddy cheek rant mode.
-
I can...3 reasons why...1.this is not Adkins team yet so he can only play the type of football with the players available. 2. We have lost our two main pace threats from last season - Waigo and Antonio havent been replaced. 3. We don't have a main goal threat this season compared to last where we had one scoring for fun. Its funny how we all forget some of the performances and results under Pardew( I was livid when he went) but remember Oldham at home for one??
