I agree too, but it's probably best for me if I don't visit this forum again until we have played more games. It is said that opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one. It seems to me though that our forum members have exceeded the opinion/arsehole ratio.

Um, he is a manager, and he is in the PL.

This is the sort of balanced opinion we need to get back to. Sure, I had my more optimistic aspirations before the start of the season, but now I'm settling down with reality. We should have won this game, but later on in the season we will win one that we should have lost. All we need to do this year is stay up.

Get lots and lots and lots of quotes and opinions before you do anything. You need a firm base on which to base your actions. More importantly, is the neighbour lady fit? Do you have naked pics of her? If you do, please share.

Whichever way we look at it, the keeper position is now fixed at least as well as it can be whether we use Boruc or Gazza. Now on to the rest of the defence.

Post of the week! I actually had one of those real-life LOLs at that! I'm loving Gazza so far. In the MOM poll I voted for him...Not because he was the genuine MOM, but because he was the player that gave me the most hope for the future. I dunno how the Gazza/Goruc thing will pan out (Who knows) But I'm certainly happy we have him.

Oddly enough, going a goal up so early was even a bit bitter-sweet for me. My immediate was yes! Goal! That was quickly followed by the realisatition that most likely, it would be be as good as it gets for the rest of the game, and that a struggle to hold on to that lead might mean a very long 90 minutes. My expectations are certainly getting a rebuild after the last 3 years!

I'll +1 that sentiment too. I just watched the highlights on saints player. I was a bit too beered up when I was watching the stream (Well, it started late here, 8:30 am) The highlight version certainly airbrushed the second half, but in all honesty, we still should have easily won, and were victims of a little bad luck in not scoring more. I still think we will have enough about us to beat enough of the other crap teams and get a win here and there against better teams playing badly on the day.....We will be OK by the end of the season, I think (Hope) I can't see us being consistently bad, or consistently good. That should be enough. IMO

According to Piers Morgan, Jeremy Clarkson permanently disfigured a thumb or finger while punching Piers in the head. Maybe that's common knowledge over there, I dunno, but if not....Enjoy!
