He can pass a ball around quite well but is literally all he offers. He's like a really **** version of Surman who isn't exactly special. It still makes him useless.

You forgot Cork, he was probably our best outfield player last season. Agreed the rest where **** though. Three from fifthteen or so, great record. Scheniderlin especially, how we could ever justify spending money on an 18 year old French lad is beyond me.

I really don't understand going for foreign players who have no English league experience. I know we're in no position to be fussy but i'm sure there are loads of conference, L2 and L1 players available for free at the moment who would be a lot more usefull that him.

Strikers: Marek Saganowski, Grzegorz Rasiak, Matt Paterson, Jamie White. Nine of those are basically just academy players that got a handfull of games last season and I think Saga and Rasiak will definatly leave and Schneiderlin and Lallana probably will too. Players in bold are who i'd consider to be our starting XI on the opening day if no one else comes in.

Will do his career good if he goes to United, Fergie won't want or need him to play every game and that can only be good for someone with a very dodgy injury record. He's obviously not a better allround player than Tevez but I can see him scoring a lot more goals than Tevez did last season. Valencia is a great player as well, he's criminaly under rated by a lot of people who obviously didn't watch Wigan play. He's like Park and Nani rolled into one winger. obviously no where near Ronaldos level but who is? IMO if United do get Owen and a world class midfielder they will go on to win the league and challenge for the Champions League.

I doubt many players would turn down West Ham to play for us.

Sturridge won't be a free transfer though since he's under 24. He will probably be third choice striker at Chelsea, not a terrible career choice but not a great one either.
