  1. **** on my fire why don't you.
  2. Scored some stunning goals for FCUM, will be interesting to see how he copes. I did mention him in a HCDAJFU post a year or so ago - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=507124&postcount=33
  3. Yeah it's in Southsea. As for running shoes there is a shop in Chandlers Ford where you run on a treadmill for five minutes and they give you the right shoes for your running style. Does make a huge difference although they're like £50-60 each.
  4. I am training for the great south run as well, I am just working my way up to 10m rather than going out and doing the full 10m as practice. I usually run 10k which is 6.2m so shouldn't be a problem adding the extra four miles before October. Also planning on running it in a Southampton shirt as I stupidly bet my old man I'd do it when I was ****ed. Just out of interest which charity are you raising money for Stu?
  5. Puncheon really changed our whole team dynamic, he was a fantastic signing and worth every penny.
  6. And Mr England himself David Beckham. Of all those I think Essien and Drogba will be a huge loss to the competition. I was really hoping one of the African teams would do well and light the tournament up. I just can't see Ghana or Ivory Coast doing it with Essien and Drogba.
  7. Does the £15 include delivery?
  8. I think i'd probably die if that happened. Best player in the world over the last two seasons, doesn't have the same impact as say Messi, Rooney or Ronaldo but he simply doesn't have bad games. I don't think it's a coincidence that Messi can't find his Barca form for Agrentina. Still a level belows Le Tissier of course.
  9. Such an unfortunate time to get injured. For me he was the best centre back in the league the season before last, infact he was probably the reason Man city spent so much money on Lescott.
  10. And the turning circle of a bus. Should have called up Jagielka.
  11. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=258886.msg6983120#msg6983120 Lol at that post. Liverpool fans really are a different bread. Absolute shower. Signature is even better.
  12. +1 Such a *****.
  13. It's a shame we don't have a better more defensive right back, having two players like Lennon and Johnson on the same side of the pitch and they seem to get in the way of eachother where they're both so keen to get forward. Carragher and Lennon on the right with Cole and Gerrard on the left would provide decent balance and width on both sides, I'm just not sure Carragher is up to it anymore.
  14. Gerrard has played his best football for England coming from the left under Capello. In any sort of important games we've always had Gerrard on the left coming inside with Ashley Cole supplying the width. Green Johnson - Terry - Rio - Cole Lennon - Barry - Lamps - Gerrard Heskey - Rooney. Maybe drop Heskey for Milner if we're playing a top side and need to crowd the midfield. But i'm sure we will play 4-4-2 during the group stage.
  15. I plan on seeing us win the league at the 23 different away grounds. Not sure how often i'll bother going to St Marys, especially on the boring Tuesday nights when there isn't much chance for a drink before. I think the worst thing Cortese is done is ruin the good rapor he had built up with the fans.
  16. A lager drinking woman isn't attractive. Mrs Van Der Vaart on the other hand is stunning.
  17. This is such a flawed viewpoint, just because others do it doesn't make it right or in anyway good value. I spent around £800ish on Southampton tickets last season, I don't want to add an extra £3 on to every ticket if I want to purchase online. If they introduced it last season it would have cost me around £100 simply on booking fees which is ridiculous.
  18. I assume the £3 booking fee won't apply on away games if the tickets are bought from the ticket office? Bit of a shame the club have done this as buying online was perfect before, I guess now it's just a case of going to the ground again when convenient and picking up tickets for the months away games for you and the group you're travelling with all at once. It's a shame the club have had to resort to this scheme as along with the lack of an installment plan I think it will really hinder ticket sales and leave a bad taste with a lot of fans.
  19. Agreed. It's a shame the club has had to come to this decision as I think the majority of people will probably just think it's the club being lazy when in reality it's just the people abusing the system.
  20. That's the only reason I can think of as well. I also don't understand why it took them so long to get ST prices announced. If they where desperate to get money into the club asap they could have just put them on sale after the Southend game and they would have had a fairly large chunk of money in already.
  21. I already have like two grand on a credit card from when I started my own business, if there's a direct debit taking the money straight from my account that's a lot better than more money on a credit card that I'll just keep putting off and paying the minimum ammount each month. It's not like my suggestion would hard the club in anyway, I think the club must have had a few people cancelling direct debits and running into arrears. There's no other viable reason to not offering payment installments. At the end of the day we're customers and we aren't being looked after. If I went into Vauxhall to buy a new car and they didn't offer me a finance deal I'd walk down to road and buy a Ford. Obviously it's different with Football which is a shame as customers really don't have much swing because they know we will keep coming back no matter what (within reason).
  22. This would of course be the sensible option. I'm sure most people would be happy to pay 10% over six months or 15% over twelve. To not offer it is quite strange really.
  23. I can understand the club don't want to lose out on money by doing installments which is fair enough - but why can't they just charge interest on installments to cover what they'd lose? I don't have a problem with the prices going up, I think we all expected it but the lack of a payment plan is very short sighted IMO. Ok they wouldn't get as much upfront but surely selling more season tickets would more than make up for that. The only thing I could think of was that people might buy the ST on tick with the club and then cancel the direct debit or run into arrears and cause problems which the club don't want to deal with.
  24. It's a shame Hart hasn't got a little bit more experience as I think he's the best goalkeeper. Would probably go with Green, but I wouldn't be at all confident with any of them at the moment.
  25. Not many teams accomodate four goal scoring players like those, we will also be a threat from set pieces and the full backs might get a goal or two. As I've pointed out quite a few times, we where the top scorers in European qualification. I really can't see goalscoring being a problem, our weak centre midfielders and **** goalkeepers will be a far bigger problem.
