I've got a fiver on the skates to lift the cup, £5 on over 6.5 and £15 on over 4.5. I also have a ticket in the Chelsea end.

Probably drinking with one of the players wives if the stories from his time at West Ham are to be believed!

Three at the back for the World cup? http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/05/14/england-world-cup-fabio-capello-three-man-defence-3-5-2/ Nice article about the pros and cons, personally I can't see it but I wouldn't be too suprised if we go with three at the back at some point. I do, my point was more to stop wasting money on half time entertainment.
-
Just a case of too many cooks spoil the broth IMO. Better off without a DOF at our level.
-
It's not a case of replacing Hammond, but we need someone as good as Hammond and Schneiderlin to fight for the midfield spot, cover for injuries and step in for cup games etc. We won't win the league if Hammond and Morgan are expected to play 55 or so games next season. I'd imagine we will bring in another slightly more attacking box to box midfielder who will also work alongside those two in a 4-5-1/4-2-3-1 as well as alongside either of them in our 4-4-2.

Bring back the plastic season ticket cards. No music for goals or after a win. Get rid of Stuart Dennis, just have someone in a box someone reading out anything important. There doesn't need to be someone pitch side trying to drum up support. Open more bottle bars in the Northam. Get rid of the half time entertainment and instead show highlights from the last couple of games on the big screen or even just show SSN for 20 minutes.

Doesn't make a huge difference really, not really noticable unless you're doing a shed load of miles or got a really thirsty car. I get about 400 miles from £50 in my 1.3 combo CDTA, not much better than what i got from my corsa.

Just be up front and honest, never any point in trying to bull**** your way through things.

Brazil and Messi.

He can fit in nicely sure, just a shame he's been terrible all season, I honestly can't remember a single decent performance from him. Their Greek centre back has been a lot better which says a lot. Milner? Shocked Jagielka didn't get a call up, he could do a decent job there.
-
Probably something to do with how many goals we scored in qualifying with him in the side, we scored the most goals in Europe... There's no point fixing something that isn't broken.
-
Well Ashley Young has been **** for England and his club side, SWP has at least shown a little bit of form for England. Can't see SWP going either way, will probably be Walcott, Lennon, Milner and maybe Johnson.
-
Gerrard at right back or some sort of 3 5 2? Either way we wouldn't win with that XI IMO.
-
I fall into that category. I'm easily pleased, loved the MK Dons games where he was on a booking and still legged it the length of the pitch to strangle one of their players after a dirty challenge on Lallana, then after he'd been subbed off went for him again at the end of the game.
-
James, Green and Hart Cole, Baines, Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Rio and Terry. Walcott, Lennon, Gerrard, Milner, Johnson, Lampard and Barry (Carrick if unfit) Rooney, Heskey, Crouch and Defoe. Starting XI in bold. I know it's unlikely Johnson will go but IMO we need him there as he offers something different. Don't think we've got enough there to win it, would take a lot of luck. Lack a top class holding midfielder, right back and goalkeeper to really challenge the likes of Spain and Brazil. Give us Melo, Maicon and Cesar or Senna, Ramos and Casillas and we'd walk it.
-
Just for that goal really, I can't stand Ipswich.
-
Gutting to see him leave. I was chanting his name through the lap of honour, what a hero. Also his kid was a bit of a legend as well, best part of Saturday was seeing him leg it across the pitch a few times.
-
About 3/4s of these aren't weird at all =/

After seeing their dirty northern monkey fans chanting "one nil in your cup final" to us earlier in the season I would happily see them stay down again. Come on Bristol Rovers, Milwall and Swindon. I would actually rather see Stockport (hated the trip to Tranmere, loved the trip to Exeter and Gillingham) and Bristol Rovers win tomorrow than us.

I don't think it's going to happen personally, I think the early cup games will see a Barnard and Connolly strike force and Pardew will have to hope that works if ever Lambert gets injured. We could sign a target man type striker coming towards the end of their career to sit on the bench and come on when needed but I can't see us taking on a youngster who would be able to do the job any better than Barnard. -

They are unrealistic. We would have to break our wage structure to afford them, they wouldn't drop down unless we offered them a massive wedge. Then you would have the likes of Lallana, Lambert, Fonte, Morgan, Davis all ****ed off and wanting that sort of money. Breaking a wage structure by such a massive amount at our level is never going to be worth it. Hopefully we can attract a few more players like Fonte and Lambert and get promoted, then we can look at those sort of players. People like Danns, Clyne, Ward etc are realistic targets. -
Wright Cork - Baird - Fonte - Bale Surman - Guthrie - Schneiderlin - Skacel Jones - Walcott

It's not like we generate much of an atmosphere anyway, it's got to be worth a try. Great idea, loyalty should be rewarded.
