Pretty sure Fabiano plays alone upfront for Brazil. If I had to bet on a top scorer I'd go with Fabiano or van Persie.

Perfect job for him, can see Mascherano following him there now. He really won't have to change a thing from the Mourinho era to get them playing in the style Rafa will want. Also got to laugh at Liverpool paying Rafa 6m and him walking into one of the biggest jobs in Europe less than a week later.

They've also put prices up by 7% despite there worst season in years.

I think only Dempsey, Donovan, Howard and Bradley would get into our squad, the rest of them are fairly average. We should beat them comfortbly.

He's carrying an injury and has been training on his own.

It's all part of his charm

I think Italy will go out in the first knock round, they only reason they will get that far is the easy group. Mexico will be the shock team of the tournament. South Africa will be the first world cup where a host nation hasn't made it past the group stage.

USA are just a hard working and fit side not anything special. They will probably finish second in our group and then lose to Germany.

I am terrible when it comes to betting, my last bet was £20 on over 4.5 goals in the FA cup final which went well - Chelsea hit the woodwork about six times and they both missed a penalty. I didn't really put too much thought into the predictor, there's no point wasting too much time on them. Group A especially is really hard to call, France have some fantastic attacking options but they're held back by their manager. South Africa shouldn't do well on paper but the host nation always qualify for the knockout round. Uruguay are probably the best side of the lot with Forlan and Suarez they're going to score a lot of goals. Then there are Mexico who looked really good against us, I think they will suprise a few things. If I had to put money on it I'd say Uruguay and Mexico to qualify. I agree about it being a heavily defensive world cup, you can usually rely on Brazil and Argentina to score a few goals but they both look like they're going to play a more defensive European style and most of the smaller nations seem to be lining up 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1. Quite looking forward to seeing France play with Gourcoff, Ribery, Govou, Malouda and Anelka in the side. Same with Holland if Robben makes it back in time and they play Robben, Sneijder and Van der Vaart behind van Persie. Most of the teams are reviewed quite indepth here - http://www.zonalmarking.net/category/worldcup2010/

Would probably top the night after we lost to Palace 4-1 on the opening day.

Can only imagine the melt down the forum would go into if we drew at home on the first day.

Somewhere away at 3pm. If it's another 12.30 sky home game I will be really ****ed off, Sky ruined the first game of the season last year.

Lamberts legs.

http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/895521/0d903168/boobs_or_i_move_him_closer.html Bit harsh but funny as ****. The Chat Roulette / Many Cam combo used to be immense, shame everyone wised up to it and I ran out of decent gifs.

Capello has banned them from making an official song.

How exactly are England under performing? We qualified with ease with two games to go whilst scoring a **** load of goals. Sure we've ****ed around in a few friendlies (still won) but they're pretty much irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The players are far more concerned about not gettting injured than scoring and a lot of the time we're trying new formations and styles of play. They don't mean anything. La Galaxy wouldn't beat England and I doubt they would beat anyone at the world cup tbh.

Ended up with us beating Ghana and Uruguay then losing to Brazil in the semis.

You only have to pay if you want a TV, if you just want to stand up it's not a problem you won't need a ticket. The London Road Varsity is £10 and you get a seat at a table, a bottle of Bud and a burger.
-
We will hopefully be playing our second string by then anyway. Personally I think the USA game will be a far harder test, they're not exactly going to come out and attack us and they have a few decent pacey players going forward from midfield.
-
They will need to make some sort of reason to get one. If it's £20 and makes it a bit easier to get away tickets I'll probably get one.
-
Those horns are getting right on my tits. Also this game just seems like an injury waiting to happen, can't really see any point in playing it. Although it is good to see Joe Hart get a run out.
-
Will probably do the local economy some good not putting these screen up, pushes more people into pubs spending money - can't be a bad thing.
-
Not sure how we will manage to get the 12th man on but it could work.
-
Not a chance. They've got some decent players - Bradley, Donovan and Howard would get into most teams but they aren't going to get anywhere near a world cup win anytime soon.

Yes much better Scored something like 110 goals in 130 games.
