Chelsea have a DOF well infact a group of people who make the transfers for them, was just wondering if that was the case with Celtic.

I think they will go for a centre back as well, I was suprised they didn't in January Toure hasn't looked the same player since he contracted malaria. I do think half their defensive problems come from Given he is one of the best shot stoppers in the world but he's poor from crosses and doesn't command his box at all which makes the defenders play deeper and deeper and eventually panic into making mistakes. It was the same at Newcastle, they spent so much money on centre backs only for them to end up being very poor and then eventually picking up again when they left Newcastle and it seems to be repeating itself at City. Given is the sort of keeper that makes the routine saves look amazing, I would rather have Joe Hart in goal.

Do Celtic have a director of football? Would be strange of them to be picking transfer targets without a manager otherwise... Can't see Lennon getting the job full time after his last few results.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Torres at Man City next season. They should probably think about signing a decent goalkeeper first though, wouldn't be at all suprised if Mancini has an eye on Buffon.

Can't be Morgan or Lallana, I read a thread on here that they where both lightweight luxury players and we would be better off without them? Serious answer has to be Lallana, his goal tally is very impressive but I can't help feeling he should have done slightly better. He does seem to have the nack of getting into the right place at the right time now.

Up until this season he's basically kept them in the league on his own, I hate him as much as anyone but you can't doubt his ability. 7 goals with 10 assists in his first season in the Prem is a fantastic return, especially considering he spent most of his time up front on his own and didn't take any penalties.

Probably worth the same sort of amount as Barnard £250k-£300k, any more than that and we should probably look for someone else. No point getting ripped off even if we do have the money to spend.

So is he the director of football or just looking over the accademy? Can't really be arsed to read that article.

Have they seen him play much this season? Takes some people a long time to change their opinions on a player, especially if they make a massive point about being negative.

Idiakez was awful, one of the worst players i've ever seen. The game away at Bristol Rovers in the cup stands out, shocking performance.

Jones, McGoldrick, Dyer and BWP for differing reasons. Couldn't stand any of them.

I would happily have them in the FA, we've had Scottish and other foreign clubs in the FA cup by invitation before. The problems would be with regards to the Europa league place to the winners and how it would effect the UEFA coefficients, this is probably what would stop it happening.

Harding is easily good enough for the Championship, more so than some on your list IMO.

A right back - Orr or Clyne. A centre back - Not really sure, maybe Kisnorbo if Leeds stay down or another try to get Ward from Coventry. An attacking midfielder - Danns, Garvan, Shelvey or maybe even Surman. A more defensive / deep lying midfielder - Stock? can't really think of anyone that plays the Schneiderlin role that we could bring in. Maybe another foreigner. Yeovil had a black defensive midfielder playing against Leeds the other day who looked pretty handy, might have just been a one off though. A Championship level striker, need goals and someone who can play if Lambert breaks a leg or picks up a suspension. Hulse or Bednar maybe? There are plenty of very good available Championship players. We've shown we can attract them in League One, should be able to attract a class above in the Championship.

Would be amazing. I was wondering during the Barca - Arsenal game how we'd get on against playing Barca and I honestly think they would probably beat us with 8 against our 11. They're current XI is probably the best team i've ever seen play.

Hoolahan is this season's Lallana.

He's a good player, seems to give us something different that we didn't have before, love the way Lallana, Antonio and Puncheon interchange when we play with the three of them in attacking midfield. They're all so fluid, it must be a defenders nightmare.

I can't think of any reason not to sign him, he's had a few bad games (Colchester away was beyond shocking) but he's had way more good games than bad. What more could you espext from a 19/20 year old winger? He's got pace, power, works hard, gets his fair share of goals and all this is achieved from either starting or as in impact player. Compare him to say Jake Thomson, Lee Holmes or Jamie White who are a similar age and position but no way near the same level as Antonio, he's streets ahead of all of them. He has to sign really, one of Pardews best finds so far.

If we throw it away at Yeovil i'll be devestated, huge game. Surely the pitch can't be too bad we've had quite a bit of decent weather recently.
