Adkins programme note said "wants to bring in competition for lallana and Chambo" so i read that Punch is not coming back, or certainly not in his thinking
If we continue on good run through October I note we have the current top three over ten days in November (Carlisle away, Peterborough home and Brighton home)
lloyd was at the Brizol Rovers game with Saints fans and a couple of mates in the tent at the end. Always gave 100% and from that still has affection for the club. He left before the end and had a quick word with Alex who was warming up. Guy should get a positive reception. Note he was top Saints player delivering crosses last season.
Doesnt add up iwth what Adkins says on his interview, in that the clubs were talikng alst night and today about compensation. Both the Bournemouth and Scunny chairman are trying to make points for their clubs, personally think they are both bullsh*ters - expect Cortese is doing things right -
" There have been vague mutterings from club officials about arguments between Pardew and unspecified staff members at the s****y new training facilities in Staplethorpe "
Where are these facilities ? Is that what Staplewood will be renamed after Atkins joins ?
Leaving AP in place would have been the best chance of getting us out of L1. I cannot think of a scenario or manager that can come in and improve our chances this season. The statement even recognises change is not good. Crazy and clearly about personalities. Unlike many on here I understood Corrtese's previous actions that caused angst - they were commercial but so what we where spending big. This changes it, all my positivity from the trip to Rovers has gone - ruined my BH Monday -
Look at it another way, hopefully next season we will be at say 20 points after 10 games (6 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats), we could get more. Therefore we would be 22 points better off than this season. If we then could replicate our form from that point we should be north of 100 points ?
When I do that it says admission has no value in a pop-up. When you did this did it then appear in your "shopping cart" or is there a step I am missing ? - Thanks
This really saddens me to hear this. I don’t post that often but please pass on my best wishes to Kevin and his family.
Like others I recall the ZDS goal, but also met Kevin as he worked at a previous employer of mine back in the early 90's (before he went to do the job at Fulham), and he kindly came along and presented awards at our clubs presentation evening. My recollection was of a genuinely nice bloke who after football was studying, doing a normal job and was very down to earth. Reading the points from the poster who knows about the condition the thought that he will be potentially altering his personality makes this particularly sad, and my thoughts are with his family.
