It's an easy conclusion to leap to, but I think that was just down to Burley's bizzare team selections. There have been enough retarded decisions since to make me thing that was just Burley's unique way of doing things.

When you're a French teenager who's just moved to England, that's the last thing you need. Anyway, this is the guy who played on with a broken arm and finished the season wearing a cast during matches.

Whether or not Gobern plays, we aren't going to be attacking players with a whole lot of pace. I reckon would should set out our game plan so we don't need to until we can get some quick forwards and wide men in. Lots of neat passing, intelligent movement and strikers who can finish off even the faintest of half chances.

Anyone else remember our trip to Nottingham last season? Size comes of injured and we let in 2 in the last 15 minutes. I know that's a one off, but we really did lose it without him. Overall, I'd say we were a much better outfit with him in the side. Size has a lot of good attributes, despite the rash challenges. Similar players without those challenges make a decent enough living in Premier League sides.

I'd have him and Jaidi in the squad if possible. With those two, Perry and Thomas I think we've got decent cover. Anyone who thinks JPS is a liability clearly has never seen a game involving Lancashire, Jackobsson, Bernard, Davenport, Powell, Makin, Molyneux, Wotton, Kenton or Haijto.
