  1. ...but Christ on a bike, Peter Andre is pushing it. Every time I see that Heat Magazine advert I was to stick both feet through my TV. That is all.
  2. Is it just me or does Wotton look like a human trafficer called Sergei?
  3. Was supposed to say foo-kin, but your idea's better.
  4. Tried fish ******* today. Wasn't that great if I'm honnest, gonna stick with Saints for the mo.
  5. Think it looks carp if I'm honnest. I think with the same home kit, we've got the worst combination of kits in living memory. Who the fook is drawing these things and thinking, "yeah, that looks good." The only stuff I like the look of from our new range is the training jumpers, but I've already got the grey one from last year and really have no need for another. https://ssl.saintsfc.co.uk/dept.asp?subgroup=9600&hotlinkid=200&sessionid=226917581&shopperid=
  6. Wow, it seems the old regime has turned everyone into a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Relax, it's Friday tomorrow.
  7. The club are not lying about this, why would they? This isn't Lowe we're talking about. We offered Jaidi a contract. If his demands exceeded our offer to the point that we couldn't come to an agreement, I'm sure the club would have come out and said so. Markus has already said the club is going to be run as a business, which means financial prudency, and I for one agree with him. We aren't going to be splashing out wages on big time Charlies with big reputations, so there is no need for any cover up. Odd as it seems, I am sure this is just a work permit issue and nothing more sinister.
  8. Renault are about to pull out.
  9. I don't think "wide-man" is refering to the possition he plays.
  10. Little early to be drinking Nick.

    Idle hands

Reminds me of when Neil McCann left us then broke his leg on his first game back at Hearts. If he is indeed out for a few months, this is good news for Plymouth fans.
  12. Ins Arizona JustMike +2 Hamster Minibar Southern Stain r-a-g-g +2
  13. Swiss billionaire ... derisory contract offer. Kelvin seemed happy enough with his deal and he had offers from West Ham. I doubt he'd be offered more than we'd offer SJ. Just to clarify, I don't have any beef with John for leaving, if he wants to play at a higher level that's his perogative. It's the way in which he did it that p*sses me off. Coming back to Saints to get fit, knowing we were in delicate financial times and it might be a while, if ever, that we get round to offering him a new contract. Then turning down the offer, going to Palace and claiming it's our fault.
  14. Well, the bit where he says he wanted to stay, but we took too long to offer him a deal. We were in administration and needed time to sort things out. If he was serious about wanting to stay, he wouldn't have just p*ssed off as soon as we offered him a deal. If we hadn't offered him a deal and he'd gone to Palace, I'd understand, but we did. It was there, on the table and he chose not to sign it.
  15. Does come accross as a bit of a budgie in that, but he does raise a couple of valid points. As arrogant as it sounds, his goals did keep us up last season and we repayed him by forcing him and all the other experienced players out. Don't know who he thinks he's kidding though. He left for more £££ and CCC football.
  16. Euell has long been part of the problem at Saints and it was in the best interests of both parties that he moved on. Yes he may be scoring in a few preseason friendlies, but he sure as heck didn't do it whilst he was here. 5 goals in 2 years and more than 50 appearances. Not good.
  17. 606 could be literally anyone and this mysteriously appeared a couple of hours after a thread saying, "why don't we sign Scandinavians anymore?". I'll believe this when I see it.
  18. I assume you are forced to watch these re-runs at gun point?
  19. If I'm not working, I'll certainly make an effort to get to this one. One of the few games, along with Carlisle, which is actually within driving distance.
  20. Hydrogen sulphide. Apparently the same gas can also give you a boner: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7920565.stm :-s
  21. I like Top Gear, but they do need to make certain changes. 1. Get rid of the Hamster. He used to be funny, but now his jokes and crap play acting are just tedious. 2. Stop 'pretending' to be useless at everything. The VW advert sketch for me was all that's best and worst about TG. The crap acting of JC and May pretending to be hopeless in the boardroom and pretending to argue about how to direct the advert. The advert with the funeral, woman in the bikini and the explosion was funny however. Then I absolutely laughed my ass off at the "Berlin to Warsaw on 1 tank" advert. More stuff like the Robin Reliant space shuttle (maybe slightly cheaper) and the USA and Botswana road trips.
  22. Old but still brilliant, as are many of Weird Al's productions.
  23. Mine failed, but then I've spent all my money on crack.

    drummers?

That's a hale of a dicky idea. *sorry* Anyone who wants a drummer clearly wasn't at the Blackpool home game a couple of seasons back. The atmosphere was so sh*t. Nobody singing because they were just drowned out by continuous drumming. Ended up with one of the stewards decking the guy with the drum IIRC.
