Can't see us getting Oakley back. He is still easily CCC class and was doing a decent job for Derby in the Prem a little over a year ago. Not offering him the 2 year deal Burley offered Wright was madness IMO. Realistically we'd be looking at players like Ormerod, Cranie and Prutton. I'd welcome the latter back with open arms just for his effort. Oh, and Gregory Vignal is available on a free.

Vignal is out of contract this summer and I can't see Lens offering him a new contract. Has also been through one less ice age than Telfer and is only 27. HCDAJFU!

The world is coming to an end. We are all doomed.

On the upside, Button won again. -
Some kind of shaman would be quite useful.

Killer aside, I think they've all got the legs to go another season. Tallent however is a different story.

Get well soon Jermaine. Edit: Sorry I meant, 'Paul'. He just reminds me of someone a bit.

Winning at Reading. I think the best moment was when BWP scored his second. To find our selves 2-0 when Reading had won something like 8 of their first 9 home games was great. Especially after reading the predictions of a 7-0 home win on their forum. Very little cheer other than that for me. Only other win I went to was Cardiff, whoch was settled 1-0, by a penalty.

The usual clueless journalism when it comes to aviation. "following the airline's orders to take off at reduced power to save money on fuel" - Taking off at reduced power is standard practice for all airlines. Yes it saves a marginal amount of fuel, but the primary reason is to reduce wear on the engines and reduce noise. "THE pilot of the Emirates flight that nearly crashed at Melbourne Airport with 225 passengers on board had almost no sleep the previous day" - All airline crew, both pilots and cabin crew are entitled to a minimum rest period. I am not sure what Emirates policy is, but it would have to have been at least 12 hours between getting off duty and clocking on the next day. "NONE of the announcements told passengers how serious the situation was and the passengers were not in the "brace position" when the plane landed" - There is no reason what-so-ever to adopt the brace possition for landing after a tail strike.

Well, you could look at it as the miss that earned up 8 extra points this season... er... I never got why DMG takes penalties. Especially when we have Surman and Skacel (the latter not today) on the pitch who have both been more reliable in the past.

Saints 2-2 Burnley Post Match Reaction - Saints Relegated
Arizona replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
That is based on nothing other than paranoia. We are in advanced talks with several parties. There is no reason for us to have a further points deduction and wont be getting liquidated once a deal is finalised. -
Relegation confirmed. 10 point deduction will apply next season. Table as it stands 19. Plymouth - 50 points 20. Forest - 50 points 21. Barnsley - 49 points 22. Norwich - 46 points (game in hand tomorrow) 23. Saints - 45 points 24. Charlton - meh
-
Wolves equalise. Either Saints or Wolves need to score again not to be "relegated" today.
-
Thunder and Lightning up here in Ayr. Mildly distracting.
-
Doesn't matter if it's 2-2 or 2-20, we're still going down today unless Wolves get 2 goals.
-
Never saw that coming...
-
IF it stays like this and Norwich lose tomorrow, we'd need a 2 goal win at Forest to "stay up" Oooh, Rasiak scores.
-
DMG misses another pen.
-
Oh sh*t Barnsley score.
-
More of the same please, by the sounds of things.
-
Something along the lines of "Saints should have been 3-0 up, they gave away the penalty and you can guess what's happened now" Anyway, HT, off for a dump. Wish me luck.

F**king Jeff Stelling!!!!

Penalty Burnley... scored
-
On here please. Davis, James, Size, Perry, Gillett, Lallana, Wotton, Surman, DMG, BWP, Euell Subs: Forecast, Lipstick, Morgan, Smith, Saganowski. COYR etc.

And Dexter scored for Forest. Add to that I've just seen clips of Beattie, Fuller, Delap and Higgy keeping Stoke in the Prem on SSN. Also last night they were at the Leicester game and interviewing Matt Oakley and Nigel Pearson. I feel half delighted for these guys, but half sick that they're gone and doing much better elsewhere. Especially Oaks and Nigel who we could so easily have kept if it weren't for egos.
