Hasn't Pearson just set a new club record of about 25 games in a row unbeaten for Leicster? Still, he's had £500,000,000 to spend on transfers and, as Burley proved 2 years ago, if you have lots of money to spend, you are guaranteed to finish at least 20 points clear at the top of the table. I wouldn't call it a response so much as an interuption. Saga had 4 in 4 games, then gets taken off when he failed to score in what, 1 1/2 games. If Saga looked lazy and complacent, then I might be inclined to agree with you, but that doesn't sound like any Saga performance I've ever seen. I can't help but feel that had Saga stayed on, we could have got something at Bristol. Saga has shown in the past he is capable of scoring when he and Saints are playing poorly.

Credit where credit's due indeed. He did well today. The real test will be whether he can put a good run together and make us hard to beat and not put his foot in it with press conferences. A few more comments accusing the fans and saying things like "Saga hasn't contributed in recent games" and we'll probably be right back on his back again.
