  1. F**k Donny winning.
  2. Morgan hits post.
  3. Great Kelvin save from corner. All Bristol City.
  4. Ok... so far good.
  5. DMG has scored 6 goals in CCC this season. Kaka has scored 0, so by your logic... Saga, Paterson and BWP are all better than DMG IMO. He has played 29 games and has played in every minute of about 27 of them. The other three have barely played this season. Might have something to do with it.
  6. Surprisingly not. MLT and Thomson both mentioned mismanagement at the top levels as the main reason for our plight. I think Thomson is a moaning git most of the time, but he is generally spot on when talking about Saints.
  7. Difference was, back then we had the likes of Matty, Marian, CMFG, Beatts, Kachloul and a few others to bail us out. We can still stay up, but I really can't see what's going to change at the moment. Saga will get a few goals, but nobody else looks like getting on the scoresheet too regularish. At the back, Size looks a good adition, but we are nowhere near watertight enough to compensate for our goal drought.
  8. All the pundits on Soccer Saturday just said we're going down. Can't really argue with anything they said.
  9. Well, it may well be the case, but it would surprise me. There are all sorts of more plausible reasons. He could have got the cut in training and the media just jumped to conclusions. It could have been a Pompey fan claiming to be a Saints fan to stir trouble. It could even have just been a good old fasioned smack because he knocked someone's pint over. If it was a Saints fan then fook me we have some Idiots. Ooh, we're on SSN now.
  10. I have a cut on my left hand. Doesn't mean disgruntled football fans had a pop at me.
  11. "Wotte’s warning to his players comes after star striker Marek Saganowski turned up to training sporting a cut over his right eye" Yes. Saganowski, he's the real villain here. Forget Lowe, Wilde, Wotte, Poortvliet... the guy scoring goals, he's the one I'm after!! I do not doubt Wotte has issued this warning, however I think the rest is just creative journalism.
  12. Oh Sausages.
  13. On here please.
  14. On here please. Saints line up with: - - - - - - - Davis - - - - - - James - Size - Perry - Skacel Euell - Wotton - MS - Surman - - - - - Saga - DMG - - - - Subs: Forecast, Liptak, McLaggon, Gillett Lallana
  15. On here please. Euell, Molyneux, Skacel and Pulis all included in squad. Bart, Holmes and Fish aren't. I would pick: Davis James - Size - Perry - Molyneux Lallana - Surman - Wotton - Skacel Saga - BWP Subs: Forecast, Liptak, Euell, MS, McLaggon
  16. And the Nigerians.
  17. Well, having watched him last season, I'd say he was neither.
  18. I have just witnessed a p*ssed Glaswegian explaining (shouting) to an Italian friend all the different words for a woman's private parts. Quite surreal I have to say. What's the oddest thing you've seen?
  19. Missed the start, which goals did they show in the opening credits?
  20. - - - - - - - - Davis - - - - - - - - - James - - Perry - - Size - - Mills - Lallana - Surman - Wotton - Skacel - - - - - - Saga - - BWP - - - - - -
  21. Interesting stuff. I can't blame Skacel for wanting out. Let's be honnest, if ANY of our current squad got a decent offer, they'd be out of here in a flash. Thing is, I can't see any Prem teams swooping for the likes of David McGoalkick or Lloyd James. I said in summer we'd be better off keeping Saga than John. Didn't think John was going to do quite this badly though. 2 goals in 19 games at City, plus one (Rotherham) in 10 for us. 3 goals in 30 odd appearances (sound familiar). Saga on the other hand has 9 in the same number of games. I think John would have done better if he had been here and playing with Saga, but if I'm honnest I'd have Rasiak beack before him.
  22. Think we've been completely dicked in our last 6 games against Watford 5-2 in the League Cup 3-0 (a) and 1-3 (h) in 2005/6 2-3* (a) and 0-3 (h) in 2007/8 0-3 at home this season. *They had 10 shots on goal to our 2.
  23. Nope. I had membership in the playoff season so that I would be able to get tickets early incase any games were getting towards a sellout. These days I can buy a ticket anywhere in the ground 10 minutes before kickoff, so there scarcely seems any point. Season review DVD? It's been bad enough watching this season once. Signed book? Already got a shirt signed by my favourite players from the current squad and many from days gone by. I don't drink at matches and I've already got a scarf. Here's an idea. Sell all the shirts after matches in an auctions, like they used to with the Poppy shirts, with a reserve of whatever it costs the club to make them. Wouldn't make a lot of money, only maybe £500 per game, but it's the only gimmick I might be interested in. Every now and then shirts might get a bit more, like the Man Utd shirts, BWP's shirt from the Reading match or Saga's shirt from the Swansea match.
  24. Saints latest cost cutting initiative is unveiled as the ball boys are replaced by snowmen.
