He scored 8. The one at Derby was Lallana's. Of those 8, 2 were against none League Exeter and one was a penalty (he missed another). And Saga had 6 in 15 before today.

He scored 3 in his first 3 starts, then was dropped. I wish DMG was that a*se.

I think it's actually fairly obvious that LOWE is picking the team based on the players he isn't trying to drive out of the club to save money.

I think that should read, "was SENT to Aalborg and scored several goals including one in the Champions League and generally gave Rio Ferdinand something to think about against Man Utd." Without him we'd be a lot worse off... that's based on the assumption that he would be replaced by nobody at all and we'd actually just play the 28 FULL league games he's played in with 10 men. I don't care how good he is at defending corners. (Not the first trait I look for in a striker by any stretch of the imagination) His scoring record is terrible. On par with Saga last season. The difference is that was last season. This season Saga has 2 in 2 1/2 games and we've had clean sheets in 2 of the 3 appearances he's made. 3 more from open play. Doable.

He'd have scored 22 League goals based on his current rate. DMG has 5 from open play. I just thought I'd point that out incase it had eluded Mark or Rupert.

Well, it was always going to be a disaster leaving out Euell, Saga, Skacel and BWP. Bringing 2 of them on saved our bascon, but I doubt we'll get away with that every time. Skacel, Euell, BWP, Saganowski... the club just isn't trying. The board clearly just don't give a sh*t about the team and staying up. Either that or they are deluded beyond all human plausibilty and actually believe the shower of sh*te out there this evening are capable of staying up. I wont be paying another penny to watch Saints this season. The club have just stuck 2 fingers up at the fans and I for one am not going to pay to watch it.

So many conflicting emotions on this one. On the one hand Dyer has been distinctly average most of the time he has played for us. He has pace but only seems to have 1 good cross per game in him and keeps running down blind alleys. On the other hand he is young and learning and Kenny was pretty gash whilst he was still learning his trade here. I guess you have to look at it that the only reason we gave him a new contract at all was so we could sell him on. I think anything above £500k and I'd take it TBH. If selling him means we keep Davis, Skacel and Saganowski then so be it.

I guess they will have to keep Monza to keep Ferrari happy and probably somewhere in UK for McLaren, Williams and whichever other teams are still based there these days. You'd hope they keep Spa, but it has gone on extended leave in recent years. Where next I wonder... Russia maybe. UAE. Somewhere in Africa.
