I think the Stig is the only presenter, if you can call him that, which is still funny. If I was going to make a presenter chance, in an ideal world, it would be Martin Brundle in for Richard Hammond. I know Brundle is often off around the globe with F1, but providing they didn't film the shows (which are filmed on a Wednesday) during the 4 or 5 weeks a year when the Australian, Malaysia, Chinese, Japanese and Singapore races are on, it wouldn't be much of a problem. Hammond is too daytime TV IMO. Might aswell have Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton presenting. I saw an old episode on Dave today (I'm on stanby for work, don't hate me) which had a race to find the fastest evil ruler of the universe, with Ming the Merciless, Darth Vader etc. It was original and quite amusing, I'd like to see more stuff like it. As well as power laps I also reckon they schould race some novelty vehicles round the track. A hearse, a tractor, a combine harvester, a hovercraft, a milk float, man on a bike etc.

TBH they've had pretty easy fixtures recently and not got many points. Stoke, Blackburn, Wigan, Hull, Wolves. Still haven't played Manyoo, Chelsea or Liverpool.

That's the attitude which has gotten Saints, Pompey, Leeds and countless other clubs in a huge mess in recent seasons. I'd offer him a healty but affordable deal, comparable to Lambert or Davis. If he takes it great, if he choses to leave then fair play to him. We'll spend the money on another player who does want to be here.

Having a wealthy owner at least will put us in the driving seat when it comes to getting a price. Unlike last year when we were giving away players for free just to get them off the wage bill, we can ask for whatever we want knowing we don't need to sell.

Not really. "The Saints" is for Saints discussion. We appreciate that most Saints fans have a varying degree of interest on events down the M27, but they aren't related to Saints. We have no problem with people discussing them, but equally, they do not belong on the Main Bored (pun intended). If people want to discuss the Skates there are plenty of threads in the Lounge, on The Muppet Show and in General Sports.

I'm not too fussed. It's a blow, but I have faith in Bart. Yes he had a mare playing behind Makin, Bennett, Powell and other defensive monstrosities, but he looked solid against Charlton and I'm sure their goal was offside.

I'd love it (Keegan style) if you were a football manager. Forget scouting, videos and trials... terrace chants, that's how you find out if a player's any good.

Apparently he shouted his mouth off once to often and shortly after Burley joined Prutton gave Nigel a good smack.
