Against Saints would probably be Shearer. Such a goalscoring machine. Just in any game would be Henry, he's just such a presence on the pitch, and when he gets the ball you know something special is going to happen.

Top 4 possibly. They really do need to strengthen though. Their biggest mistakes were selling Alonso and Mascherano, Alonso especially because he was central to how they attacked. They're not the same side without somebody with the creativity and defensiveness to sit in front of the back 4 and break up play like Alonso did. Oh well.

I think we will, we do have a team capable of promotion, we have a manager who is making us play good, successful football and has great experience of gaining promotion at this level. Cortese has said "there is money to spend in January", so expect to see us strengthening weak areas in the squad with quality players who can play at the next tier and possibly even further. Have to say, my £5 bet on us to win the league isn't looking too hot right now!

I look out for Basingstoke and Farnborough's results, usually go to one or two matches a season. My main second team is St Johnstone though, I go to Perth 1/2 times a year so I try and get to see them a few times a season.

I know Dune can be a bit of a handful sometimes DSM, but that's a bit harsh isn't it? FWIW, I still rate Rooney. He's just having a bad time at the moment. People say he is sh!t, but he's 24 and already has 67 England caps and 26 goals under his belt. That's something really. 250 career appearances at club level, 107 goals. Not too shabby. He obviously has the quality, and we've seen it many times, but his media image isn't great, and that's what people judge him on. It's not like he's as bad as that c*nt Marlon King, who seems to be getting zero media attention at the moment while Rooney is soaking all of it up. People cheat, people are cheaters, people aren't perfect. Footballers are meant to be rolemodels, but you have to remember that they're normal people as well, just a lot better off financially. They're prone to temptation just as much as we are, and one slip-up can ruin your career. Beckham's a cross-dresser with OCD, people still hold him in pretty high esteem...
