  1. If we're going to look at the Championship and lower leagues there are plenty of young British players out there HCDAJFU. Chris Solly - Adventurous right-back currently playing for Charlton. Solid at the back and great crosser of the ball. Jon Williams - Deep playmaker playing at Palace. Great on the ball, although a little lightweight. Came on as a sub for Wales vs Scotland was the best player on the park by a mile. Will Hughes - Tricky attacking midfielder for Derby. Again a little lightweight, but technically he's excellent and has chipped in with a few goals and assists this season aged 17. Nathan Redmond - Pacy winger playing for Brum. Can play either side and has a good footballing brain on him. Could be relatively cheap too, as Brum are skint. Whether he's ready to make the step-up to the Prem is another thing. Jamaal Lascelles - Giant centre back at Forest. Definitely leadership material and could be a good player in the future. Still a bit raw though.
  2. Nice to see that the watch is very prevalent in that photoshoot. He's even doing the Les Reed arm fold! Cracking news if it is new Boruc deal.
  3. Jay Rod went in high to the challenge, but as they showed on MOTD he corrected his feet when he made contact with the ball to ensure no foul. Like everyone else has said, he wanted it more than Federici did! Le Fondre is a scrote anyway, he's just p!ssed off because he missed a sitter before we scored.
  4. I wasn't alive when she was PM, but i've never known anyone who's polarised opinion so much still to this day. RIP to a fellow human being, regardless of politics
  5. Lol Bearsy you troll!
  6. As a few people have said so far, getting youth team players through will be the priority I think. Those who are currently out on loan or have been on loan this season (Reeves, Hoskins, Martin etc) will be evaluated and then either brought into the fold of the first-team or sold. I can imagine the likes of Gape, Isgrove, Rowe etc will go out on loan next year as they're more senior youth players and will benefit from proper competitive football. We do probably need cover for both full-back positions as well as a pacy winger and a striker to challenge for a place. Also a #1 goalie if Boruc decides not to sign a new deal.
  7. The ground was basically empty by the 85th minute. I know we get a fair few leave SMS before the final whistle and Reading's situation is pretty dire, but how fickle do you want to be? Jesus.
  8. And to think he's now team captain and one of our best players. Wouldn't have thought that when that scrawny fella stepped onto the pitch on his debut all those years ago! Haha.
  9. Deer Sel LOLOLOLOL
  10. Won a couple of quid on Teaforthree. I never win on the horses, so stuck the winnings from today on a couple more races tonight! My luck could be in, won my bets on the footy today as well...
  11. Lots of neutral attention in this game too, so people will stay up to watch it. Clever scheduling by MOTD but bit of a p!sstake that we have to wait.
  12. Just back from the game, f*cking great day! Game wasn't too good in terms of quality but we won despite not playing entirely at our best at times - something we've struggled with in the past for sure. Maya was a rock at the back, Corky and Schneiderlin completely ran the midfield and Jay Rodriguez is looking every single bit the £7m player we signed. Always knew he'd come good, he's a highly talented player. Only negative for me was Gaston - I hate to be negative about our players but he was pretty sh!te today. Lacked awareness, passing a bit sloppy and he didn't link up as well as he usually does. Lallana coming on for him was a massive improvement and we looked much better with him on the pitch. Don't want to write him off, but if a team outside of the Prem offered us our money back for Gaston in the summer, I would take it. £12m is money that could be spent very wisely in strengthening other areas of the team (cover at FB, pacy winger, #1 keeper if Boruc doesn't sign a new deal).
  13. Yeah, I think it does. I love Nige and i'll always respect him, but it's over now. He's the Reading manager and I wish him luck next season in the Championship. Still think he deserves a better club though!
  14. Meh.
  15. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4873672/Thibaut-Courtois-courted-by-Chelseas-Prem-rivals.html Apparently us, Fulham and Wigan all want him on loan next season.
  16. For the full 10hrs.
  17. Controversial thought here, but I think Moyes is the best manager in the league. There, i've said it.
  18. Didn't really seem to be listening to him, did they?
  19. Been listening to Major Lazer a lot recently. Had this track on constant repeat when it came out last summer but we're supposedly nearing the release of the album 'Free The Universe' which has been pushed back about half a dozen times already.
  20. As somebody who splits his time equally between the Lounge and the Muppet Show, I would just like to say that I am currently disapproving of this tension.
