  1. In bold for you.
  2. Got tickets in the resale today
  3. POTY 1) Juan Mata 2) Gareth Bale 3) Luis Suarez YPOTY 1) Gareth Bale 2) Romelu Lukaku 3) Christian Benteke F*cking joke that Danny Welbeck got into the nominations though - what exactly has he done this season apart from his 1 goal? Pathetic.
  4. D'oh, how could I forget about Schneiderlin and Fox...
  5. --------------BORUC------------ CLYNE----MAYA----JOS----SHAW -------MORGAN----CORK--------- JAYROD------S.DAVIS----LALLANA -------------LAMBERT------------ Subs: Cropper, Forren, Fonte, JWP, Puncheon, Ramirez, Mayuka
  6. I could be wrong, but I think the only non-English players to have scored for us this season are Ramirez, Fonte and Davis. Probably amounts to just under 10 goals.

  8. From a mutual Skate friend on Facebook:
  9. Yes please! Technically he's superb, also has lots of energy. Think Steven Davis but younger, quicker and more solid.
  10. While it's absolutely horrible what's happened in Boston, I hate to think of the disproportionate amount of press this incident will receive compared to the dozens of terrorist bombings across the world on a daily basis which go pretty much unnoticed by mainstream media. Understandably this is a slightly different scenario given that this is an attack on American soil, but bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc are almost like white noise to people now.
  11. Swansea 2-1 Southampton (They have way too much firepower and I can see them exploiting some of our weaknesses with their pace up top) Southampton 2-0 West Brom (Worried about the ball over the top to their strikers, but as long as we shackle their forwards we should win) Tottenham 1-1 Southampton (Think we could pick up a sneaky draw here, got to press them and shut off supply to their creative players) Sunderland 2-1 Southampton (We never do well in the North-East and think we could well get beaten) Southampton 3-2 Stoke (With the home crowd on our side, a sell-out game, some nice neat passing and some drive and determination, we will win) 7pts from 5 games. Would see us finishing nicely mid-table.
  12. The tackle against Reading was absolutely spot-on, a brilliant tackle. Similar kind of situation to the Danny Fox yellow card/second yellow against Birmingham away last season. Excellent tackles but they take the man afterwards, so refs can misinterpret the situation.
  13. Only Presbyterians. Everyone else is cool.
  14. Reading will finish bottom. QPR have a far better squad and are playing better than Reading are at the moment. Reading's good form seemed to coincide with Le Fondre's run of nicking goals when he was coming off the bench. Reading's main problems are a lack of pace without Kebe and a lack of a goalscorer. QPR have bags of pace in their team and a good goalscorer in Remy, it's just their lack of spirit, teamwork and also making lots of mistakes that have kept them low in the table.
  15. I'm very positive about our future, but I think people may be getting ahead of themselves just a wee bit... I think if we finish 11th-14th this season we've done very well, and should look to finish 8th-12th next season, then push for Europe after that. I understand that there's a lot of ambition around the club now, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves - there are bigger and better clubs than us who will have the same aspirations for Europe that we will in the next few years!
  16. Problem is that Welbeck plays for one of the biggest and best teams in the world, and that gives him an advantage over players from smaller clubs who may or may not be more talented. Jay Rod aside, who still has to prove himself imo to warrant an England call-up, compare Welbeck to Rickie. Pound for pound, Rickie is a far better footballer but because Welbeck is a) Younger and b) Plays for Man Utd, he'll get picked over Rickie 9 times out of 10. Seriously if you put Welbeck in a team like Wigan or Sunderland, he would be decidedly average. He's a decidedly average player. Same for Cleverly. No questions on their potential, but there are better players out there who would be more beneficial to have in the England squad right now than young players from big clubs.
  17. Gloating P*mpey fans are definitely getting on my t!ts, saying how they'll be back in the Prem in no time. I don't think they realise they're going to be skint for the foreseeable future. Can't see too many of the Bestest Fans In The World TM getting themselves down to Nottarf Krap when they're playing the likes of Accrington and Morecambe.
  18. Junk have always had good DJs and live acts, only problem is that the drinks are so expensive that it's only ever half-full. Square Balloon is now Provenance, and it's THE place to go if you want a punch-up. Police are talking about shutting it down because of all the constant fighting...
  19. Very difficult to choose between Morgan and Rickie for POTS, but my vote has to go to Morgan. Been absolutely outstanding this season. Young player has to be Shaw as well, even if he doesn't improve he'll still be a solid LB for any Premier League team. Can't wait to see how he grows.
  20. To the tune of Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. Oh Morgan, Morgan Schneiderlin Southampton's number 4 He makes you all look sh!te
  21. He's a total bellend. End of.
  22. Oh and this is the line-up. ------------------BORUC---------------- CLYNE-----MAYA-----JOS-----SHAW ---------MORGAN----CORK---------- JAYROD---------DAVIS-----LALLANA -----------------LAMBERT-------------- Subs: K.Davis, Fonte, Forren, JWP, Ramirez, Puncheon, Guly
  23. Why the f*ck would we do that when Dennis Irwin is still knocking about somewhere? Or is he dead? I can't remember. Anyway, good back-up!
  24. Also hate Kevin Nolan, one of the biggest gobsh!tes in global football. I want to pour f*cking boiling tar in his mouth. Might sound a little psycho, but that's what he inspires in me. Tosser.
  25. Or Andy Carroll playing like a 4 year old girl with cerebral palsy - he was probably on his feet for about 2 minutes of that game combined! This'll be the first home game i've missed this season, so not sure which way it'll go tbh. I hope we beat them, but 4pts is my goal from the WHU and Swansea games so as long as we avoid defeat i'll be happy.
