I mean the fans being further away from the pitch at St Mary’s may be a reason why. Maybe the players not being so keen to get out in the community as often as we did in the past is another. So that’s probably why there’s not quite the same affinity between the fans and players anymore. I wonder what Mr Barnard has to say about this. :-)
