For the first time in a very long time I am genuinely excited by the next few months. The dinosaur has gone - what an unmitigated disaster and whoever game him a 3 year contract wants their head examined - and we may finally getting back to where we thrived with a progressive coach. Saying Pellegrino was going to be attacking, play the press, etc was obvious spin as anyone with half a brain could see there was absolutely nothing in his CV that showed any sign of the sort. It was a desperation hire: having said that Hughes made him seem a lot less worse than he really was!

Great ball in from Targett and Hoedt with a fantastic defensive header. Only way back in is to get that lump of t**d Austin off and inject some pace and movement into our play. So, so predictable and awful to watch.

So Shroppie (genuine question and not a dig) - do you think what we see every week from this team and manager is acceptable? It's so predictable and the outcome is clear from the get go. When they play at a tempo they look OK - problem is that this is only ever for 20 minutes or so a game.

Hughes has had over 6 months with this team and the defence has regressed beyond belief and continues to do so. What the heck do they do on the training ground day in day out? Go 1-0 up and any intensity goes out of our play and then we always concede because we let the other team back in....Brighton, Fulham, etc, etc. He really is a useless t**t of a manager

Bizarre.......Hughes is terrible. Two bright spots today were Gabi and Yoshi.....both who this t**t of a manager has ignored all season. Bringing on Obafemi with 1 minute left - wtf? Players unfit - who should take the blame for that? Lack of tactics and setup - who should take the blame for that?
