And Stu A with a bad injury. Terrible news - our most creative player possibly out for the season. RM's subs have been awful.
-
The subs have been awful. Edozie - rubbish, Sulemana - rubbish, Rothwell - anonymous. We haven't even created anything since we were well on top in the 65th minute. Very, very poor. KWP has been awful today. And there goes the auto chances - Sulemana with non existent defending. HTF does he get on the pitch ahead of Dibling or SAA?
-
THB played a role in that goal (although KWP was a disgrace) through his slowness. So disappointing - Saints should have been out of sight long before their goal. And now Saints are crumbling because they have no backbone. RM's subs (or lack of) have been questionable.
-
Brooks and A Armstrong have been really poor and Che is CHe. I would have Fraser on for Brooks (who has offered no defensive cover and been terrible overall) and switch flanks with Armstrong. How Saints are not 4 up is unbelievable - the usual profligate finishing. That cannot be laid at the feet of RM. This squad would get slaughtered in the Premiership.

The entertainment this season has been incredible - not of all it the right enjoyable mind - and absolutely love the Championship. We got soooooo lucky with that win but they did keep going until the end despite playing very poorly. Perhaps Bednarek should play in midfield instead of Jack. He got us going again at the end. Stephens was superb today but Downes the pick of the bunch by a long way. Very, very strange subs from Martin.
-
This has been utterly pathetic from Saints since the 30 minute mark. Anyone would think they are strangers, giving the ball away all the time. And the subs.....wtf. Stu A has been terrible, tried to be too clever with his subs that completely disrupted the (non)-style . Everyone loves KWP but has been very, very poor for some time now. ANd no idea why Mara keeps getting time on the pitch.

Do you ever have anything positive to say or is your life so miserable you try to project that onto everyone else? Same old dodgy Saints but I would take the entertainment seen this season over the dull, negative football of the past few years any day.
-
You're joking right? Every time he gets the ball he is falling over or giving it away. Him and Brooks have been terrible.
-
Do you not think your choice of language is utterly disgusting in this day and age?
-
As so many of you miserable buggers can't find a good word to say about anything related to our club maybe this will bring a smile to your faces? https://fb.watch/rirgkVY07Z/ That day was unforgettable: last day at the Dell and for Matt to come on and score a screamer to clinch the game was a thing that had grown men in tears (I certainly was).

Since when did Saints fans become so entitled? We have no god given right to go up.....blimey, the people shouting the loudest were the ones at the start of the season saying we'd be lucky to finish mid-table. This season has been better than I thought it would be but the final 1/3 of the season looks like it will be a damp squib which is unfortunate. I'm more annoyed Dibling has been completely frozen out (and SAA too) despite looking really promising. I stand by my thoughts that bringing in Brooks and Rothwell was completely unnecessary and has completely unbalanced the squad. I thought they were both dire today.

I feel for the fans who traveled up to watch this s**e
-
Gutless performance unfortunately. No zip, no cutting edge, mainly sideways and backwards at a walking pace. No way do Saints go up this season - and thankfully so. IT would be embarrassing next season.
-
All Sulemana seems to be able to do is push the ball past a defender and run and hope he's quicker than the defender.
-
Fraser will, I'm sure, escape any criticism despite being probably the worst player on the pitch today (despite intense competition). Yet Stephens, who has played well again, will get heaps of abuse.
-
Really pointless loan signings, Brooks and Rothwell. And yet none of our promising youngsters who looked pretty good when they got a chance (Dibling, BRagg, SAA, Meghoma) can even get on the bench. Dullest game I have seen for a long time.
-
This is horrible. Walking football at its worst and wide open down Walker-Peters side again. Really incomprehensible how different this side now looks compared to the wonderful unbeaten run
-
Not sure about that. Rothwell and Brooks have not, for me, made the impact I would have hoped for and have actually disrupted our style of play. Armstrong as a lone forward really does not work well. The Stephens hate on here is laughable....he has been one of our best players in recent weeks. Some of you need to get a better perspective on life: football is not a life or death experience. Every day you wake up is a good day.

Wow, you're grumpy tonight Mr Fry. But at the same time, hard to disagree with what you have said!
-
None but the little s**t has been with us less than a season and already jumped ship.
-
AGreed - but that's the issue with this Saints side. They look absolutely brilliant but can't take their chances and then switch off and concede to draw/lose. Plus once Ipswich got the bit between their teeth Saints folded (they are too weak mentally). I really don't see how Dibling or SAA are forgotten about: Sulemana and Edozie are dreadful. Thanks wilcox - you c**t
-
OMG - really is time for Bazunu to be "rested". Saints are simply not strong enough (mentally). While you could make some excuses for the first 2 with Bazunu, you sure can't with the 3rd. And shocking defending - the Ipswich player was on the floor FFS.
-
At the end of the day, Saints are (for major parts of the game) streets ahead of other teams. Unfortunately, they rarely do it for the whole game and are so profligate in front of goal. We seem to need 6 chances to score. ANd how the hell is tat a red card for Bree? The Ipswich player dived and THB was there to cover.
-
How on earth is Edozie ahead of Dibling or SAA? He's so utterly headless and lacking football intelligene.
-
Did you not see it went through the defenders legs so he would have seen it very late? Plus, for both goals the outfield players have left their man completely unmarked under no pressure
