  1. I'm just relating what they say at the Forum, not giving my own opinion. :-)
  2. AP can see Morgan S as brilliant one match, not involved other times ....
  3. AP thinks it would be "tough" to get promotion this year ...
  4. Working in Winchester too! Q. Which way should you go at penalties then, Kelvin? A. The RIGHT way! :-0
  5. Let me get that right ... he played for Saints in the 1890s and is still playing now .. in 2009??? He's been playing for over 110 years??? And commentators get excited about Giggs playing for 20!!!
  6. Nope, "them there" were NOT penalties, neither of them. However, as others are saying, we have had penalty decisions going AGAINST us of late, so them there were a couple going our way.
  7. "Nothing ..." AP singled him out as having played exceptionally.
  8. You need to register for the service. That will generate your customer number. For the tickets, you can specify a block, sometimes upper or lower, but not particular seat within blocks. If you're that particular, better to book over the phone.
  9. Yes, ok, Wally, but don't blow your own trumpet. Let's see how the next few games pan out, shall we? And any news on Murty's injury?
  10. Pardew is clear he doesn't want this to be a perm move, so we have to trust that is the case.
  11. My thoughts too. AP seems to be using MK to get him match fit, then in a month's time presumably put him in our matchday squad.
  12. You're right, samski. Those with a longer commute (and I don't have the longest) should be compensated, not the local charlies who can walk to the ground and get beered up.
  13. We couldn't afford Euell then. This was pre-takeover.
  14. Actually, it was neither. It was Andrej Pernecki (apologies if name spelt wrongly) in goal last week. Aside from pick the ball out the net the once, he saw us score 6 times the other end ... more than I did after ko time confusion ... so not sure if he is better than Bart and Forecast, or not.
  15. Oh do tell. Don't leave us all in suspenders.
  16. No, that's NOT acceptable behaviour at 55, Mike. You run the risk of being served with an ASBO. You need to ask your doctor to refer you for an anger management course.
  17. You would now, I can tell you. From south of Tot Hill for 5 miles it's a contraflow and 50mph zone. It's a bum journey, it's raining hard and I have commitments this evening, so for that reason, I'm outttt.
  18. Hmm, nice one - let's pursue that angle. I'd love it if he came here, just love it. Time to call his bluff and see if he really is a Saints fan, prepared to get on board.
  19. Spiffing news, old bean.
  20. I like the way your urinary tract works :-) Charlton 1 Saints 2 (Jaidhi winner from corner)
  21. Ah, he's seeing green flashing lights on the road to Damascus, then? :-)
  22. I'd like to see him from the off, but I would expect Pards will play Saga off Rickie, at least for the first 60 mins, then - depending on whether we are behind or on a par - bring Papa on to play either up front (with Rickie) or wide right (if we're behind and need 3 strikers). Good to know he is cleared to play.

Pardew, you beauty. If anyone wants to check my post history, you will see I have named Dan Harding on a number of threads as one I would like to see here. I'm loving this. I'm loving the Dan Harding. I'm loving the Alan Pardew. YES YES YES YES .... now I know what was exciting Meg Ryan - it was Alan Pardew!!! I would hug Alan Pardew if he was here. In fact. I may hug him on Saturday. So if you see some nutter getting carted off my the stewards, that would be me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So please forgive my effervescent, nay orgasmic, post of 21st July, but I knew Dan Harding was pure class and i was amazed we had picked him up on a free. I would extend his contract right now if I was Pardew .. which I'm not, of course. Did you think I was? You guys!
  24. I'm actually hoping that this is an indication that Sam Argent will be considered for the first team (unlikely, I know). Apart from last night, I've only been to one reserve game and Sam Argent was outstanding in that game. And Pulis hardly 'played' - he was there, but all our play went on the left side through Molly, Fish and Holmesey.
  25. Thank you, Sambosa, I agree completely. As the original poster, I am reading the comments that followed with a furrowed brow. As you say, the player 'reached out' (and not in a perverted way, before you lot bite on that) to a young Saints fan and made his day. That kid will idolize Papa now. We read all the time about players earning 100 grand a week and having no connection with the fans, and this guy comes in from abroad and makes this kind gesture. Let's have more of that kind of thing, I say.
