Tommy Spurr vs Dan Harding/Lee Grant vs Kelvin were both hard ones to call, I think Grant has the height advantage that Kelvin lacks and I remember Tommy Spurr being very highly rated when we were in the Championship so went for him.

I personally think Pardew spent the majority of the summer budget in January. We really need a couple of signings a good 3 weeks before the season imo, at the moment Sheffield Wednesday, Peterborough and Huddersfield have teams either on the same level as us or a higher level.
