Paterson was hardly a lump. There are not many Lambert types going around in the lower leagues, which is clear but we still need another option for when he is injured.

You're correct about us having three good forwards but two of them cannot play together. There were plenty of decent balls going into the area today, the type Lambert would have got onto.

I never said it needed an 'excellent' striker, just back up for Lambert.

Does he? He talked about a back-up striker for Lambert as he didn't see enough from Barnard and Connolly against Gillingham. Where is that back-up striker for Lambert? Joe Garner was available for a loan move from Nottm Forest, as far as I know we never even tried to sign him and just let Huddersfield take him. I've been saying this since last season - I don't think Pardew is the manager the majority think on here, he doesn't cope with pressure well - as shown at Chartlon and West Ham. He has spent a massive amount here, but today showed we're nothing more than a one man team.

Pardew has not done enough in the market. Our bench was weak a part from Lallana. We missed Lambert, what happened to the back up for Rickie he talked about after Gillingham? Barnard and Connolly cannot play together, every game they do we will lose/draw.
