Well from rumours on this board it would have to be Cortese, but still we won't know the whole story about Pardew and Cortese. I don't think Pardew will walk though.

It isn't really a surprise that Cortese was close to sacking Pardew after last season, which ever way you look at it - We underperformed. I suspect Cortese will sack Pardew if we get off to another poor start or if we're outside the top two come new year by a 10 point + margin. I don't think many could argue if he did sack Pardew for any of these two reasons this season, but if we're flying high and he gets the sack - some serious questions need to be asked about NC and if he should be at the club anymore. Of course this would all blow over if we managed to go up and AP would be forgotten about.

I remember last season Pardew said he would be using the Summer to build a team that could not only challenge for this league but challenge in The Championship. Richardson could be a good signing but I wouldn't go as far as saying he is the best RB in the league, those teams of the year things are ********. Dickson could also be a good siging but where does he fit in? We still lack: Two strikers - Connolly is not going to last the season. We also need one to replace the pace that Antonio/Papa offered to the side. A back-up goalkeeper - Assuming Bart is leaving, would be a nightmare if Forecast has to play because Kelv picks up an injury. A CM - One that can take the game by the neck, for our away games at Exeter etc. It is slightly worrying to keep seeing names like Chris Lines pop up, he is a average League One player.

How many times have you seen Dickson play to say he is NPC quality? Also I don't think Ipswich fans thought much of Harding while he was there.

Franck Queudrue played for Peterborough in a friendly tonight. That would be a quality signing for any team in this league.

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Clinton Morrison. That is a very good signing for League One, he will get at least 15 goals.
