  1. So does that mean their transfer ban will be lifted in time for next month? You just know they will somehow get out of this mess!
  2. You ever been to a Southampton vs Leeds match? Even when the Leeds were 3-0 down in that game at St Marys they were the ones making all the noise.
  3. How many tickets are we likely to get for this? 2,000ish?
  4. Its only the FA Cup..
  5. Stay away?
  6. Didn't that happen to us before we went into administration?
  7. Tbh I reckon we'd average around 25,000 if we started to win the majority of our home games...
  8. ****, don't really feel confident with Mills at LB!
  9. http://www.upthesaddlers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=32781 Why do we get fans like this who give us a bad name. ****s.
  10. Had a very bad feeling about this game, but it sounded like we played awesome. I really can't remember the last time I enjoyed Southampton Football Club this much. Markus Liebherr - You will FOREVER be a hero in my eyes, thank you for everything you have done. Surely a big attendance is in order for Tranmere? OWTS!
  11. Any chance the club will be putting on classic Premiership highlights? I used to love going through the archive on SaintsTV for classic games..
  12. If we're near Millwall come January with a very good chance of getting into the play offs - Yes I can see him coming to Southampton - Aslong as we make the bid. If we're are 11 points off the play offs - I can't see him picking us over Huddersfield. From what I remember in the summer he wanted Championship football, so it will come down to who is most likely to be there next season.
  13. Whitbread came close to moving to Huddersfield in the loan window - the deal broke down over personal terms but is expected to be resumed in January.
  14. Well Hull have no money and will face a meltdown once they get relegated this season..
  15. Why is everyone so obsessed about getting into the play offs - yes it would be great but lets face it - we won't. Somewhere down the road we will hit another bad run of form and everyone on this forum will be acting like the world is coming to an end. We will finish mid-table this season IMHO, which is good enough for me. Then we will have to spend a bit in the summer because this current squad isn't good enough to finish in the top 2.
  16. Tbh he was never going to live up to the hype that was set by the club and the people on this forum. I don't think it will work out - Send him back and use the wages for someone else in January.
  17. Good win, but we did make it hard for ourselves. The game should have been over by half time but some awful finishing stop that. How Waigo missed that chances to put us 1-0 up I will never know. Same again for the 2nd half tbh, awful unfront. We could have easily dropped points against a very poor Wycombe team who look certain for the drop. Thought Morgan, Jaidi and Perry were our best players. Perry's tackle just after we took the lead was quality. 16,000? Looked much less. Very poor turnout from both sets of fans imo - made a very horrible atmosphere. Papa Waigo - Awful tonight, has failed to impress me tbh. Why don't we just send him back? Wouldn't be suprised to see him go back to Italy after tonight, he looked very annoyed a the crowds chants of 'hes always offside'. Think he even had a bit of a mood after sitting down.
  18. Having Southampton as a host city will make the bid much stronger for England. Lets face it, what will the WC reps want to see from the England bid? Plymouth - Need a new ground, need new training facilities, train links to other cities are pretty poor. Bristol City - Need a new ground. Southampton - Already have a ground worthy of playing international matches, Fantastic training facilities and great train links to London.

  20. Poor draw. Even the Rotherham and Luton fans ain't happy with it!
  21. I thought it was a terrible performance from Southampton. We got lucky on several occasions, had Northampton actually had a decent striker they would have easily won. Bialkowski came for a couple of crosses that Kelv wouldn't which was good to see but he still looks very risky. The way he came charging out when Perry had the ball under control was poor and we were lucky not to pay. I thought Dean Hammond done pretty good in the first half, but had a poor second half. No way did his 'goal' go past the line. Still not convince by Papa Waigo - he scored a good header and hit a brilliant cross for the 2nd, but he was very poor and hardly took his man on. Not to mention when he was one on one - he was hyped up by the fans and the club, he isn't ever going to live up to that hype imo. I was also suprised to see Pardew pick Jaidi in the team - he was awful against Brighton - mainly because we had 3 games in one week. Lets hope he doesn't do the same performance against Wycombe. On a plus side though, Lallana seems to get better and better every game. Thought he was quality tonight and yet again got a goal. Very impressive from Lallana this season - lets hope he stays in January. Overall - It was nice to get another win and keep the confidence in the squad high, we made it hard for ourselves and didn't exactly play to our full potential, which is good signs as we still manage to see them off. In recent years - Southampton have gone to League Two grounds and have lost, this season that isn't happening. It would be nice to get a couple of cleansheets but still a win is a win.
  22. One on PPLive is woring fine.
  23. We've already gone through have we? Anyone but Pompey home or away. They would still beat us by at least 3 goals imo.
  24. I really do like Bart as a person, as a goalkeeper he went off the boil a bit after our play off season. This is his big chance to get back into his form and become a real contest for Davis. Good luck Bartosz!
  25. As if Plymouth would EVER fill a 40,000 seater. They only get like 9,000-13,000 now and couldn't even sell out when the club gave away something like 10,000 free tickets...
