Maybe it's about time we get the club involved with this one? Heard a couple of people singing it at the back of block 41 yesterday but it never clicked on and our fans only ever seem to sing the same tune as Saganowski but just change his name for Lambert. It is a good chant but maybe we should change a bit.. He Stands Just Over 6 Foot 3, Rickie, Rickie, He'll help us up The Football League Rickie, Rickie, He Gets The Ball, He Takes The ****, He Wears The Shirt Of Matt Le Tiss, Rickie Lambert, Southampton's Goal Machine Makes more sense then the "He'll take us to the premier league" bit imo.

I thought he showed some decent signs when he came on. His movement was slightly off but it he's only had 23 minutes of English football.

Thought Lallana was quality in the first half but drifted in the 2nd. Still though - his corners are crap! Let Morgan take them, he seems to be very good at long range balls so maybe he has a decent corner. I remember the OS bigging his set-pieces up when he signed.

Yep - was a clear penalty. But Charlton's second disallowed goal looked clearly onside.

Just got back - Impressed but disappointed at the same time. First half we looked up for it and took a deserved lead. But the second half was all Charlton! We were lucky as I reckon at least one (if not both) of their disallowed goals were onside! Was I the only one who thought we should of had a clear penalty in the closing stages of the match? Mellis looked like he had turned the defender - only to get his legs taken away.

When we win our first game, everyone on here will be all happy and start expecting the climb up the table to start. The mood will soon change if we fail to win our game after that. Tbh I just don't see where our next win is coming from - I would say Yeovil but its at St Marys.

Charlton fans seem obsessed with wanting Waigo to fail. This whole Pardew thing has got very pathetic imo.

We never applied for the permit in the first place. We must be confident of him getting one if we've signed him. Even if it failed we'd still have to pay him if he didn't agree on his contract being cut short.

Charlton fans were awful a couple of seasons ago when we drew 1-1. Only chanted when they scored. I even believe they were singing 'Super Alan Pardew' at one point. Now they have about 5 threads on their forum about Pardew's return. Hopefully our fans will sing more songs than the last time I went. I hate hearing 'yellows' chanted every 10 minutes. We may manage to get 2,000 up there if Charlton allow away fans to buy on the day. If not I suspect we won't even manage 1,500.

We're the highest spenders in the league (I think) We shouldn't even be setting our sights on survival this season but it looks like thats what it will be and if we do go down - Pardew has to go.

He had 3 good chances yesterday. One got cleared off the line - unlucky. One was where he had plenty of time to watch the ball - it was up in the air and coming down on his foot perfectly BUT he missed the ball. I could have put that in the net. Another was a free header. For someone his height he has a terrible header. Loan him out imo.

In the past two seasons I have paid £400odd on season tickets. I have only seen them win at home FOUR times. I think they deserved to get booed off. My money - my opinion.

Today we were good imo - everywhere apart from attack where we looked clueless and the wing. Atmosphere was terrible today aswell. Very depressing day. Paterson has got to go, he is by far the worst striker I have ever seen in a Saints shirt. Had 3 great chances today but failed to convert any of them. Lambert is has yet again been marked out of the game. I thought Thompson was awful when he came on - Mills done well but seemed lightweight. Morgan looked decent when he came on aswell, some idiots boo'ed him in the Northam stand. Highlight of the day was seeing Papa's dance.
