One of the most odds bits of commentary given the context of the season. "That Saints goal brought a smile to the face of Nigel Pearson". "Well he was having a nice lunch but I'm hearing Nigel Pearson has just been sacked." On a positive, Hoddle is a bit more bearable at the moment. The bar to bearable commentary is so low nowadays. It is simply whether or not you constantly suck off Liverpool.

My issues with KWP and why I don't think we should sign him. Neat and tidy on the ball, but a full back who wants to success in a top half team either needs to have the pace to beat a man, or pace to defend the quick and power players. Either that or an absolute wand of a boot. He doesn't have either. Will make a very good top Championship player, or lower end premier league. But not quite the level we should be aiming for

I really do disagree. Yeah we have had awful form at home. And deservedly bottom of home form. But I don't believe it is lack of heart, or that the players dont care as some have suggested, It is a lack of set up. So even within out shit home form to say 'they've given no indication that they were going to play like that at home before tonight.' is simply wrong. I can show enough home games where there has been heart and conviction but not the result. We played Spurs in league and FA cup in quick succession and put in brave and good performances. We thumped a shit Villa. We drew to United when we should have won. That's not to say our home performances have been acceptable. The results and a good chunk of performances have not. We are low down on the home table for a reason. But my point it is not passion or heart why we are down there, it is because we are still working our how to break down sides who sit deep and counter.

I just want people to remember this when we put in our next bad performance and start complaining that these are a bunch of money grabbers who dont care. Sometimes we play badly. But it is not because this lot of lads don't care or they aren't trying. Sometimes it just happens, especially as it is not the most talented team we have ever had. This is a team with nothing to play, who could easily be mentally on the beach. Yet what I saw was each and every one of them putting their bodies on their line to stop one of the best teams in the world. They do care. And they do try. Are they the most talented? No. But they truly do give a shit.

I took the 9-0 loss very well. Lot of jokes, gallows humor, and actually, a bit pride of just how shit we were. But fuck me the commentators are milking it. Multiple times every single fucking game
-
Vision is slightly disported from all the cum from the commentators over Man City, but from what I can see, the lads are giving this fucking everything.

I am from the left and I live in Bristol. I also know many people on the left who are wishing Boris well despite strongly disliking the guy- although some are frustrated that he took such a jovial approach to shaking patients hands in hospitals when he should have been leading by example. That jovial approach may sadly have cost some extra lives. But that does not mean we went him dead or even unwell. But sure, if you focus on the .1% of comments then you would come to that sort of conclusion... 99% of people on the left believe in an inclusive society where marginalised groups receive stronger representation and work with communities to do so.

Oh you are a sophisticated troll I will give you that. You will never say anything directly homophobic or transphobic, because that is too easy for others. You skirt around the issue and try to create arguments on side points. You are trying to turn this into a coming out thing heterosexual vs homosexual. Your comment to this thread was to distract solely. I'm not going down this path. Fashanu was a true pioneer and inspiration for many young footballers. I can't imagine the abuse he went through and how horrific it was. And let's not forget a very good footballer as well.
-
Don't give the troll any oxygen. Hes long shown to display homophobic and transphobic views. On Fashanu, once again we can see the impact of the tabloids, especially the sun, on a person's mental health and the high degree and abuse they give out. Really sad and I'm glad he is being honoured. Ahead of his time and an inspiration for many young footballers. Sent from my CPH1835 using Tapatalk

Really shows how important Armstrong is for our attacking play. If he plays poorly like today our entire attacking play falters.

Strange...working fine for me! Anyway take your pick from any of these https://streams100.net/event/southampton-vs-burnley-match-preview/

http://www.ovostreams.com/southampton-vs-burnley.php for anyone that needs a stream. Also I know saints have been frustrating and awful for much of the last few years. But **** me I am glad I am not a Burnley fan. Imagine watching this **** week in week out season after season. And the worse thing is it's not even like they are out of form. This is how they actually set up.

So let me get this right. The spurs penalty with no contact counts. But the Ings penalty against Liverpool on Saturday with contact does not count? And people still think VAR creates a level playing field? Sent from my CPH1835 using Tapatalk

Stuck out a leg, certainly worth a shout. But of course the commentators brush over it so they give Liverpool a little rub.

Good captaincy having a word with the ref. Get him to calm down. Of course in every other game it should be the other way round... Sent from my CPH1835 using Tapatalk

Finally get a ****ing freekick and it is the assistant who gives it. This is pathetic. Sent from my CPH1835 using Tapatalk

Three isn't it? Klarer out on loan as well isn't he? So weve lost Yoshida, Klarer Cedric and potentially Danso. And we have gained...spurs fourth choice right back on loan.
-
Seems a bit odd. We are one of the most form teams in the league, just about competing for a European place, and could do with a signal of intent rather than a squad filler. So it seems odd that we would sign Spurs 4th choice right back. Arguably 5th choice as they would probably play Sissoko there ahead of KWP.
-
Lol no way did Redmond deserve to get booked there. The ref is starting to lose control which is unsurprising given what he has let go.
-
JWP has been magnificent up against Zaha. I think the Cedric injury was a good thing for us. We needed Romeu to go toe to toe with their hard tackling players, and JWP has done probably a better job than Cedric would have done.
-
Agree with this. He gets stick for his passing, but I've never found it as poor as people thing. He gets his head up well and seems to have a good idea of what's going on in front of him. Certainly more so than Hojberg.
-
What is it about JWP that really riles Zaha? The guy is a football geek! Of all the potential thugs in the league that Zaha could get riled up about, JWP seems a peculiar and amusing chouce.
-
I was really tough on Redmond pre-match. I am gonna chalk that one down to me Who next. I think that Hojberg needs dropping....
-
But disappointed not to see djenepo start. It will probably be another 'promising' performance from Redmond where he goes close to scoring a screamer and a couple of good runs but no goal or assists. Probably not gonna be many chances this game and one thing I've noticed about djenepo is that even if he struggles to get into games he buys us some cheap freekicks down their end (note this is not an endorsement of diving but hey every team has a ****** who can do that Sent from my CPH1835 using Tapatalk

Can we remove the swear filter for Boufal's finish there?
