  1. Hilarious. Thank f**k you are nowhere near the decision making at the club. dry those sheets and get a grip man!
  2. Ralph said last week in a pre-match interview that Lemina has a stomach [abdominal?] problem - he has pain when he shoots - - which wouldn't necessarily stop him training. Bertrand is also training, and also "has some pain problems".
  3. Wow! What a fantastic, disciplined performance 2nd half. Reminded me of semi-final both legs against Lpool, keeping shape and seeing the game out. Vest, Targett, Romeu, Bed, Prowse, MCarthy were all awesome, Redmond, Stephens and Armstrong decent. I understand why Valery was wound up - Chilwell had him in a headlock and he reacted for the 1st yellow - but so glad his loss of cool didn't cost us. We will all remember where we were the day Shane Long scored
  4. ROTFLMAO @ people thinking big Dave Merrington is an astute tactician, manager or football brain. I find him entertaining, but you don't have to look at his record, just listen to him for God's sake! "...what we don't want to do here..... is concede a goal." ".... the only way we can win this game.....is by scoring." and so on ad nauseum. In other news I actually think we weren't that bad today. After seeing very little of the ball for 20 minutes we got back into the game with an excellent goal from PEH and looked like scoring again for 10 minutes before a poor decision and a fluke triple ricochet goal undid us. Then with the 3rd goal it looked like we were going to get thrashed 2nd half, but surprisingly held it together and had a good spell for 10 minutes where I though we might score again. Decent debut for Ramsay, and I too was proud to see 5 academy lads on the pitch. I'll admit I was less than thrilled to see Shane come on, and Elyanoussi was poor throughout IMO, as was Lemina. RH said in the preview that he's not fully fit - a stomach problem. Hopefully this has helped Ralf decide who stays and who we look to sell. Worst thing is PEH's moment of madness - we're really going to miss him
  5. Get a grip you sad sacks! We are not going down, but our internet fans deserve relegation. Pierre's red card is very annoying, but let's not forget his excellent goal. But for the ref doing the right thing that could have been very different
  6. Didn't bite on the [sarcastic?] suggestion that we deserved to win. Mentioned foul on Bed before their goal, but refused to blame the officials for us losing. Said it was disappointing and several players didn't really perform well enough or have their best game today. When asked whether it was too many games in a short time, said some of the players looked tired onthe pitch tonight, but this is the premier league and everybody knows the fixtures in advance. Basically didn't use any of the excuses offered and admitted performance was disappointing, without naming/shaming anyone. Fair and honest reflection IMO.
  7. I think Ralf gave a better performance post match than many of the players did on the pitch... We weren't good enough tonight, and that was disappointing. Shame we couldn't keep the momentum going, but this is going to take time....
  8. Thought Vestergaard did alright, but a few were poor today including Lemina, and we were 2nd best in the middle of the park all game. Bringing on Shane was an odd gamble which didn't pay off. Glad Redmond got another [handball?] goal, but too many times his tricks didn't come off today, and he ended up giving the ball away when trying to take on players. It was like we just didn't click as a team today
  9. Lovely goal Redders He deserves that after so many decent performances and hitting the woodwork a few times. Hoj nearly played him in again a minute later as well. Come on you Reds!
  10. Sell Gabbi obviously. Got off to a flying start but has been poor ever since.
  11. Apart from the last 5 minutes of extreme tension that was a real pleasure to watch Thought Romeu, Ings, Valery, Vestergaard [!?!] Bednarak, McCarthy, Redmond, Armstrong, even Targett were all immense today. The sound from st Mary's was amazing as well - a definite 12th man performance from all who were there. Could this be this start of a new page in our history? I bloody hope so! Come on Ralf's red n white army
  12. That's a load of crap. There are only 2 scenarios where it's about intent which can't be shown - handball and backpass. EVERYTHING else can be decided more fairly by VAR. Wicked free kick from Gabbi forces a great save. now it's penalty time again. Thank god the only thing at stake is a thrashing by City......
  13. Cringe for Obamefi - what a miss Shame Redmond's shot didn't go in - he works so hard and sees plenty of the ball, but so little end product. Saints fans sound good though. Red army!
  14. Thanks for the stream links. Working well
  15. Well said. I'm with you mate..
  16. I admire your faith and agree with your assessment. Bang!!! Armstrong is on fire
  17. Come on Saints! Let's win this
  18. Bl**dy hell! The Dalek is right!
  19. Thanks for the laugh - I needed cheering up. Son just got home after being robbed at knifepoint, and with that and watching the match I'm not in the best of moods....
  20. Take your pick: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccerstreams/ Come on Saints!
  21. This.
  22. Great tackle by Hoedt.
  23. Nice penalty Lovely ball from Bertand too. Come on Saints. We aren't going to win but let's score some goals?
  24. Christ that was close! Good football for a moment there. COYR
  25. This. You boo boys who think you know better than all the coaches, trainers and experts, and have decided to blame Hoedt for everything really are blind. If you want to blame somebody blame PEH for that goal. He's not having his best game.
