  1. This is so true. Had our attendance not dropped this season we would be in better financial footing. The cutbacks and unpopular sales/loans are partially a result of the "fans" who cant be bothered anymore. The revenue gained from 5k worth of ticket sales per game would easily have covered wages for a combination of Rasiak,Saga and Stern. Im neither pro or anti Lowe, he's made mistakes, but his hands have been tied to a degree, yes, some of it his own fault, but the responsibilty does not all lie on his shoulders alone.
  2. Spot on!
  3. Erm, no
  4. "Chairman tries to encourage the team in pre match shock"
  5. and Cole WILL live with it, and he wont give a s**t what people think, because thats who he is, he doesnt care about anyone but himself. I could be wrong also, but i would like to hope that most of the england players could put 2 and 2 together and realise the reason for he scale of the reaction. doesnt take a genius.
  6. BANG ON!! i think a lot of people are missing the point. Ashley cole is not a particularly popular figure due to his public affair etc. He's an arrogant t**t IMO, and given the opportunity I'd definately give him a bit of stick, the least he deserves. Should it have been Rio, or Upson, I'd bet your bottom dollar there would have been minimal bad reaction if any. I have Bridge over Cole any day of the week. He'd play with far more pride.
  7. I have to say i agree with this. He was definately the weak link. The guys behind me were making comedy out of his performance, maybe thats why i noticed things more. There were alot of laughs lets say!
  8. Its so great to have Alpine back. Every post i have read over the last couple of days seems to end up with a b1tch and a moan, all derived from his input, its so depressing. It's just typical he already has such an opinion on a team he hasnt even seen play. Change the record mate!
  9. i thought Perry had a reasonable game, was an incident where he was too casual getting to the ball and gave their big forward bloke a chance. Played far better than Thomas and Racine, thomas really struggled last night, im sure he wont be first choice this season.
  10. Looks like a simple Thomas for svensson swap then perhaps, from what i saw last night id go with that. Maybe swap Thomson for Dyer also for the starting eleven.
  11. Davis' distribution was great last night. Released a few early balls and also played some short balss too, unlike last season, sit on it till everyone's settled then hoof it up field. Made a great save too.
  12. Is there anything special about cardiff? I think they'll be mid table candidates this year, really think we should be setting sights at, at least a point!
