He seems to be becoming more and more lazy as time passes. Did anyone see in the man utd game where one of our lads (cant remember who McLaggon i think) dribbled almost straight into him coz he just stood there, didnt find a supporting position or show any desire for the ball or to create anything. In the game against palace when our second goal was conceded, skacel could be seen marking no one, then shouting at one of our nippers to pick the man up, by which time it was too late. Skacel saw the danger he should have just dealt with it, not pass the buck. Just a couple of examples, but as one of the higher paid players he should be providing better service to the club. People talk about his potential and how we dont get the best from him. I think its his attitude more than anything else. Kelvin Davis can be quoted as naming him the laziest player in training also.

JE "I’m still good enough and young enough to be playing regularly in either the Championship or the Premiership" I'm sorry, but this man is deluded! "I was absolutely horrified to find my contract details printed in the local press last week" - yeah, horrified that the truth is out and you're robbing the club. Correct me if im wrong, but i havnt seen anything of an official transfer request. that's what i'd be doing in his shoes. Truth is he knows he on to too much of a good thing. He's dead wood as far as im concerned, the sooner he's of the wage bill the better.

Obviously havn't been to many games this season! LOL!

Yes, i'd agree about Bart, not seen Forecast tbh. But it seemed to me as if KD's form has improved greatly since Webster has left. He's at the top of his game right now, no doubt about it.

Mate are you having a giraffe?

Jeez, big clubs really don't waste any time these days. 7 sub appearences and only 1 start - He's not even got a first team goal yet! Maybe he does have the attributes to acheive big things, would be nice if one of those included putting the ball in the net in a saints shirt.

Am i the only one who thinks Rudi needs a kick up the a**e. He seems to be becoming more and more lazy as time passes. Jan is quoted in the sun as stating Saga will be a big addition to the squad. Would indicate he is well in his plans, but who knows.

Go wilde, its ya birthday!!!!

I believe you to be correct here, problem is Euell as ever was f**king diabolical today, as were the whole team tbh. McG was awful too, really hacks me off why he gets so much time on the pitch. We need a frontline with presence, simple.

This is so true. Had our attendance not dropped this season we would be in better financial footing. The cutbacks and unpopular sales/loans are partially a result of the "fans" who cant be bothered anymore. The revenue gained from 5k worth of ticket sales per game would easily have covered wages for a combination of Rasiak,Saga and Stern. Im neither pro or anti Lowe, he's made mistakes, but his hands have been tied to a degree, yes, some of it his own fault, but the responsibilty does not all lie on his shoulders alone.

and Cole WILL live with it, and he wont give a s**t what people think, because thats who he is, he doesnt care about anyone but himself. I could be wrong also, but i would like to hope that most of the england players could put 2 and 2 together and realise the reason for he scale of the reaction. doesnt take a genius.

BANG ON!! i think a lot of people are missing the point. Ashley cole is not a particularly popular figure due to his public affair etc. He's an arrogant t**t IMO, and given the opportunity I'd definately give him a bit of stick, the least he deserves. Should it have been Rio, or Upson, I'd bet your bottom dollar there would have been minimal bad reaction if any. I have Bridge over Cole any day of the week. He'd play with far more pride.

I have to say i agree with this. He was definately the weak link. The guys behind me were making comedy out of his performance, maybe thats why i noticed things more. There were alot of laughs lets say!

Its so great to have Alpine back. Every post i have read over the last couple of days seems to end up with a b1tch and a moan, all derived from his input, its so depressing. It's just typical he already has such an opinion on a team he hasnt even seen play. Change the record mate!

i thought Perry had a reasonable game, was an incident where he was too casual getting to the ball and gave their big forward bloke a chance. Played far better than Thomas and Racine, thomas really struggled last night, im sure he wont be first choice this season.
-
Looks like a simple Thomas for svensson swap then perhaps, from what i saw last night id go with that. Maybe swap Thomson for Dyer also for the starting eleven.
-
Davis' distribution was great last night. Released a few early balls and also played some short balss too, unlike last season, sit on it till everyone's settled then hoof it up field. Made a great save too.

Is there anything special about cardiff? I think they'll be mid table candidates this year, really think we should be setting sights at, at least a point!
