I have to say I'm stunned that Ramirez's game is so highly rated, he looked impressive in the last 20 minutes but I thought he strolled around doing his best to avoid the ball in the first half. In the second half he at least looked like he wanted the ball but his passing seemed often under hit and he slowed down most attacks, in my eyes he didn't start playing until we were 3-1 up and the space opened up a bit. For me Ricky's touch and control were phenomenal today, his running excellent and he banged 2 in, easy MotM, followed by Clyne and Lallana. Ireland going off helped us greatly too.

Only took me 5 minutes to get tickets for the Villa game. Logged on yesterday at 9:25 had chosen 2 seats and paid for them by 9:31. My old man, who 'doesn't like booking online', had called the ticket office and was held in a queue when I logged on, he was still on hold when I showed him two seats in the Chapel End and asked 'they allright?'

I went and watched FC Seoul a couple of weeks ago, the half-time entertainment was called 100 vs 3 and involved 100 seven/eight year olds playing against 3 of Seoul's squad players, full sized pitch. The kids won, the 3 were actually trying to win, don't know if there was a win bonus of selection prize for them, but anyway they succumbed to sheer weight of numbers.

He looks like a Japanese version John Terry.

I can understand that we wanted to stand out from Stoke and Sunderland, but I find it unpleasant and disappointing.

I'm rather happy to be getting some of the big teams out of the way first, they are usually bedding in superstar signings and not quite clicking after the summer break. Man Utd are always slow starters.
