  1. Doesn't seem to have the touch/close control to make space for a shot at this level. Could be confidence could be lack of ability, never saw him play for Blackburn so I don't know. If it's lack of confidence then he should have been starting the last 8 games, the fact he hasn't been makes me think it's ability. Sell for loss and reinvest.
  2. https://twitter.com/sportbible/status/1524862580795359257 Never heard this before, it's certainly worth venturing into the cesspit of Twitter to see. It's Kevin Phillips pulling a goal back against Chelsea back in 2005. I'd guess the footage is from the states with Spanish commentary, let's just say I'd love to hear Dave Merrington do similar. Oh and it's not just some long 'gooooolllllll' thing. You need to stick around after that.
  3. If this summer's window repeats the last and yields 2 starters and upgrades on the back up for 3 positions I'll be well happy.
  4. Jesus the state of you lot.
  5. next game get some of the young players in. Tella, the young left back from Everton , whoevers kicking about and wants to prove themselves, bar a few exceptions this lot are on holiday already or at least making sure they won't be injured for the summer
  6. That's enough of that I think.
  7. Forster Clyne Fonte Van Dijk KWP Wanyama Schneiderlin Stu Armstrong Mane Lambert Ings Sub Long Bertrand, JWP, Pelle, Romeu, Alderweireld Gazzaniga Manager Nige
  8. No one mentioned top top player Broja yet? I've heard he's the best young player some have witnessed since Gascoigne. Never saw Best play, but from what I've seen and heard from people that were there at the time he's probably the number one. From the players I've seen probably one from Dalglish, Gascoigne, and Giggs., Really wish I could have seen Le Tissier playing with good players around him though as he had the skills to match them all.
  9. No way Chelsea are a top 4 team next season 😉
  10. I like the bloke, he's been good for us, but he is not going to be a 'top, top player' a lot of people are getting very carried away. I'd be disappointed if we paid more than 20 million for him. I'd take him at saints, but there is no way he's going to be leading the attack for a top 4 side in the future.
  11. yeah sorry, I'm in south Korea didn't notice the dates had been changed to south korean time i.e 4:30 a.m, Thursday, going to be a long day that one,
  12. West Ham in the cup on the following Thursday. Do we want Ralph tinkering with an eye on the cup game? I'm thinking he may go for one or two of: Diallo for Romeu, Redmond for St Armstrong. Armstrong or Long for Broja or Adams and possibly another outing for Small.
  13. In Ralph I trust
  14. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  15. As a young teenager in the 80s I loved seeing Danny Wallace and Steve Moran come through as youth players and tear up the league playing for a top side. My Danny highlight has to be his hat-trick against Coventry along with Moran's. 8 goals and our young forwards being unstoppable. My first memory of Danny was when I went with my father one weekday evening, around 1980/81, to the Saints youth training center in London. My dad was running an under 13 side and had taken a decent player player down there for trials. It was just a big sports hall with bunch of boys doing drills and playing 5 a side, but there was a small black kid on his own just kicking the ball against a light switch panel, hitting it every time. Left foot right foot, I watched him doing that for about 10 minutes and was transfixed. Less than a year later and I saw him come on as a sub I think and me and my dad both recognized him. Danny Walllace, Steve Moran and Ivan Golac my heroes as a kid.
  16. Great feeling to love watching this team again
  17. Has Tella even started 10 games for us yet. Playing at RWB and people are writing him off as not good enough for the Prem. But then I've come to expect that idiocy here.
  18. can wadd-powers not turn with the effing ball? The wad constantly receiving it in midfield from the CBs and immediately gives it back to them. The only time he plays one touch football is when he goes backwards which is 90% of the time. Wants to spend a little less time cutting holes in his socks and stretching his torso so he's able to turn 90 degrees when receiving the ball.
  19. Jellyfish and Ward-Prowse the only lifeforms on the planet to exist without a brain. Not the highlight of JWPs game though, for me that was when he gave a short return pass to Walker-peters not once but twice when he clearly didn't want it as he was out of position.

  21. been watching the Norwich Brentford game, christ since the 55th minute not a minute has gone by without a Norwich player feigning an injury, the main culprit being a short blonde ponce by the name of Normann, what an irritating little weasel. A face you'd not tire of punching.
  22. Christ, a simple question whether we're better without JWP and I had to scroll past post after post about whether Broja scored a 'tap-in' now we're going to be overwhelmed with a discussion about if something was a block or a tackle FFS.
