  1. With so many places around town to park up for free, it seems odd to choose to pay somewhere. Unless of course mobility is an issue.
  2. Don't want to speak for Craig, but it's probably based on the fact he looks fairly decent at footy 👍
  3. Muchas gracias amigo
  4. Forster (yeh right) KWP Stephens Salisu Perraud Romeu JWP Livramento S. Armstrong A. Armstrong Broja Wouldn't mind seeing this, but then that's harsh on Ely and Adams who have both started the season fairly well. Also there's no chance Ralph will play Livra further forward, so forget it.
  5. Surely that new Swansea badge is a wind up?
  6. They should make the rainbow shirt our permanent home kit and the rainbow police cars a permanent fixture too. If for nothing else just to keep Turkish and his fellow oafs in a constant triggered state. Such a little snowflake getting his knickers in a twist over some flashy colours. Right winger insecurity makes for cracking entertainment on a Monday morning.
  7. Would love to see this.
  8. It's been taken down, if anyone finds a link to the highlights that'd be appreciated.
  9. Decent finish
  10. Sergio Romero recent playing history: 2019/20: 17 games 2018/19: 7 games 2017/18: 10 games 2016/17: 18 games 2015/16: 13 games 2014/15: 11 games 2013/14: 9 games 2012/13: 33 games Not loads, but quite a bit more than 21.
  11. Arsenal have had an appalling window. Ben White wasn't even the best CB at Brighton last season and they spent 50 million on him. Fifty. Million. Then the Ramsdale deal, 30 million for a very average keeper. They'll still finish above us in the league most likely, but they've had a dreadful summer all round. Biggest spenders and they've not improved their team one jiffy.
  12. Just watched it back again and again. From McCarthy's starting position to the position he saved it, he had to move of 1 foot to his right. 1 foot. Standards have clearly slipped so low for some if they're calling that a superb save. Smacks of desperation to prove their boy is a good keeper, but just makes them look a bit silly. It was, as you say, a decent enough save. If he had let that in, well, he would've been rightly slaughtered. If that ends up on McCarthy's highlights reel he'll be one mightily embarrassed GK.
  13. Very fair comment
  14. I hate finding myself defending a Man Utd player, so I'll agree to change my mind on this one. Ban the f*cker! Just watched it back again, hadn't seen it since the original incident. Fair enough ok it was a foul but nothing more IMO.
  15. Pogba brushed his shinpad. It's more of a foul than the Stephens one was, but that's still not a foul.
  16. Think it was more about the cost of implementing it. Pretty sure he basically said that it's not worth doing. 😐
  17. I'm more on your side than not on this, I thought Redmond was his usual self (not good enough) for most of his time on the pitch. However he's put in a great cross for our 1st and then played a cracking ball through to win us a pen so criticising him for yesterday seems unfair and makes it look like it's agenda driven. I think generally speaking he's a poor player who can occasionally pull out some brilliance.
  18. Are we talking about the header from Wilson? Decent enough save, would have been slaughtered had he not saved that! Certainly wasn't superb, it was almost straight at him at a good height, but it was decent enough. McCarthy played well yesterday.
  19. Wasn't a question about safe standing raised at one of the recent fan events and Semmens poopooed the idea?
  20. Now this is a cracking idea. While reading the BBC article I imagined the safe standing to be in the Northam but with away allocations varying in size, and the Northam end for home fans having limited space it's hard to envisage the safe standing working there. Creating an entire end in the Chapel with safe standing is something I think a lot would get behind.
  21. Could be one of those where he just needs the one goal to boost confidence and he could go on a run. I do like the way he's been playing this season, just his finishing has been infuriating so far.
  22. Doesn't change the fact that I don't like to see a red card for an accidental handball. Totally disagree with that rule. They won a penalty, that's more than enough. No real football fan should want to see a red card for that.
  23. Thought he looked good in the short time he had. Holds the ball up really well.
  24. Oh the ironing. Also why would you see a doctor about an issue that somebody else has? That's odd, but I suppose Docs are used to dealing with all sorts.
