Very possible. He could have a couple of good years left in him with different management/style of play, it happens all the time. We heard similar when we signed Bertrand after a loan at Villa. Villa fans weren't that impressed at all and his signing wasn't greeted with much joy on here. He turned out to be one of our best purchases I think in recent years and a great servant. Things started going south for him here for whatever reason and it was his time to move on. He's found himself a cracking club to finish his career at.

Definitely a good signing. I think a lot of the apparent joy from many on here is because for a lot of his time here he has been very poor. However they've overlooked the fact he's dramatically improved since his early days and has had periods of being absolute quality for us. He also comes off the back of a brilliant Danish campaign at the Euros. Surrounded by other quality players at Leicester and under the excellent coaching of Rodgers I think JV could prove a very valuable asset for them. We clearly had to sell due to his contract situation, but it means the Foxes get a decent deal for a more than decent but not top level player.

For those of us lucky to have known Ollie for years, we know exactly why the club have brought him in albeit this is quite an unexpected move. Despite never being the best centre back he's incredibly smart, articulate, kind and will be a brilliant head to have around the youngsters.

Simeu and Lancashire brought in at CB leaves us looking very healthy in that position IMO, so now we just need a striker and some full backs and we're good to go.
