  1. Good interview, like the cut of his jib
  2. Are you trying to win biggest moron of the forum award? Mate, take a rest you've got it nailed down. I could take over at Leicester with the squad they've got and get wins. Almost everyone of their players is better than ours. Puel was responsible for absolutely destroying the soul of our side. A complete disaster and everyone except yourself knows it. Still, Hughes and Pellegrino have been just as bad.
  3. Love that man.
  4. I had a hotdog at the St Mary's Stadium But I obviously didn't attend for the hotdogs I attended to watch the match of football Which I remember was Southampton versus another side Goals were scored and there was even a throw in Throw in, throw in, throw yourself in Gabbiadini, Gabbiadini Ooooooooooooooh I attended to watch the match of football to the tune of Another one bites the dust
  5. Odds would have been woefully low on that one. It's pretty much a dead cert. Only way that bet would be worth it is if you went above 10 grand
  6. Are people on this thread genuinely trying to say that saved penalties are not missed, or is this some kind of forum inside joke I've missed out on?
  7. The biggest and most powerful protest in my opinion would be to attend matches and purchase merchandise as normal, but without saying a word about him. Don't even think about him. It's a bold tactic but one which will hit an individual hard, especially if fans outside the stadium just completely blank him and don't ask for photos or autographs.
  8. Well yeh, that also sucks
  9. very interesting to see this name pop up as this fella was in London last week. Royal Garden hotel
  10. Hey! Cut that out, we won't be having that. As is probably the same I suppose for most of us on this board, our fathers also pushed us into Southampton and good that they did. Ok so we're f*cking ****e and depressing to watch right now (and for many years previous) but on the rare times we do have some kind of success it's a far sweeter and more meaningful experience than we'd feel supporting a team like Liverpool or one of the other lot who just win all the time. Just make sure there's plenty else in his life to distract him when Saints naturally let him down, then you'll have done a sterling job.
  11. First one from Armstrong was ok, the rebound was awful from Gabbi
  12. http://www.eplsite.biz/stream15.html no idea if this is good, just turned on
  13. The only problem with this one is the manner in which Fulham are going to beat us. We can all accept a close defeat if we play well, but to lose to the League's bottom side so comprehensively and without any fight is totally unacceptable.
  14. To the tune of Will Smith's Welcome to Miami So obviously this season and the last haven't been ideal We had Puel, Pellegrino and Hughes who are three horrific managers How we ended up hiring that clown Puel after Koeman is totally beyond us What the f**k was Reed thinking? Anyway the football was diabolical and rightly Puel was sacked after one of the worst seasons in living memory 8th and a cup final they cried! Welcome to dreamland. 8th and a f**king cup final, do me a favour This was the worst destruction of a decent footballing side I've ever seen Koeman had us playing exciting stuff, attacking beautiful football It was all going so well Puel decided good football was no longer on the menu If I can destroy this side's confidence and ability I can then put my own mark on this team, he believed Welcome to hell He's a lovely chap don't get us wrong, the fact he spoke English in interviews when he was still learning the language deserves respect But we don't judge on interviews We judge on reults Welcome to dreamland Then Pellegrino came in The less said about him the better Hughes, well he saved us didn't he? Everyone was laughing Then he turned out to be **** too. So relegation is now a certainty but we'll always have each other, we'll always have our love for Saints Welcome to St Marys
  15. England's biggest win since the 66 Cup Final. Wonderful game and a magical moment for the entire country!!
  16. Love this, or to the tune of Body by Loud Luxury... Pierre, worth every pound Centre midfield he'll turn you around (you around) Don't wait around for Nath Redmond now Gimmie some goals I'm not talking fouls (he's naughty) Surely we won't concede 6? Surely we won't let in 6? But when you put it in the mix You know you'll probably fail to miss Hojberg, Pierre Emile Hojberg (He's so handsome) Hojberg, Pierre Emile Hojberg (He's so dashing) Hojberg, Pierre Emile Hojberg (He's so Danish) Hojberg, Pierre Emile Hojberg Hojberg in our, Hojberg in our f**king team yeah Hojberg in our, Hojberg in our shocking team yeah Hojberg in our, Hojberg in our **** poor team yeah Hojberg in our, Hojberg in our lovely team yeah INSTRUMENTAL (preferably chanted by the Chapel or encouraged by pitch side cheerleaders)
  17. Hojberg is the midfield man Pierre Emile Hojberg Hojberg is the Southampton man Pierre Emile Hojberg Plays in the centre of the park for Southampton Hojberg is pure man Nothing else comes close Took a while for him to settle but now very highly rated by some
  18. Would be very harsh to expect a 16 year old to choose his nationality based on his dreams alone. I for one have had many bizarre dreams and if I was forced to live my life by them things would be chaotic right now. And how do you regulate that anyway? Just trust Obafemi that what he is telling us about his past dreams are correct? We can't actually analyse people's dreams, we can't prove what Obafemi is claiming to be factual. Look I trust the guy, but if we're asking him for his dream history to choose which nationality he represents for the entirety of his footballing career I just think that's a step too far. So if he says I dreamed about playing for Brazil he instantly gets a call up for the Brazilian national team? Come on it's not realistic.
  19. Controversies in the A League are down 68% since VAR came in. The longest a decision by VAR has taken was 2 minutes and 57 seconds (info from A League official website) and approval ratings from fans for the system so far is up at 84%. Those are pretty decent stats and it has gone down superbly in Australia, attendances also dramatically increased since VAR came in.
  20. You make interesting points but on the contrary, VAR corrects wrong decisions, improves the live atmosphere by increasing suspense and supports the referees. So whilst I respect your points they're all wrong and you should consider a retraction of your comments.
  21. Huddersfield at home, Newcastle away, Tottenham at home, Man Utd away, West Ham home, Leicester home... then there's also the other ones, the big games where the VAR would have given us the three points. Endless almost, in fact there's games where the entire 90 minutes should be VAR'd - and will be!
  22. Fulham were devastatingly unlucky at Anfield. The stats might make it look like Liverpool dominated them and in many ways they did, but Fulham were class all over the pitch and missed 3 absolute sitters. On another day they'd have picked up the three points. That Fulham team won't be going down, so it's now Cardiff, Huddersfield, Palace and us the only four teams left in the race.
  23. Stunning finish from Solingham Bamba for Cardiff
  24. What on earth is Hoedt doing starting in the Premier League? Hughes cannot be thinking straight.
  25. With Man City already having won the league, the only other two places left to play for this season as the other 2 relegation spots. I think Hudders and Cardiff will take those. People looking at our relegation as a negative though, whereas I think we should be a lot more positive about it. Knowing early lets us properly plan for next season. Let's enjoy this season for what it now is, a chance to restore some pride. Sink with grace and you're far more likely to bounce back up in the coming years IMO. Fight it at your peril.
