  1. Definitely would, I don’t disagree. But I think it would also leave our midfield massively exposed.
  2. It might sound harsh but both of them are weak links for us at PL level IMO. So is Stephens to be fair, but his place looks solid as long as we’re going for the 3 CB approach. Although I’m not sure I see Adarma, BBD and another striker as our starting lineup.
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/articles/c2dgxp5n3rlo Aussie breakdancer 😆 A fucking terrible “sport” just got more ridiculous.
  4. Well that was a tough watch.
  5. Handbags. Again.
  6. Close! Cracking goal saving block from Getafe.
  7. We’re going to concede so many goals playing out from the back.
  8. I mean, I think it’s already been fact checked by a high court judge who deemed accusations made within it by SYL to be libellous. But yeah, best off get someone else sensible to do it too I suppose.
  9. He’s always been an unpleasant character, paying the fiver has just accelerated matters from less recent times. The window/windscreen episode, whether true or not, was just an extremely transparent attempt to stoke division in a time when calm was being called for.
  10. John has always been a bit out there tbf, but I do get the sense that lately he might have fallen over and hit his head or something. He’s obviously fishing for a reaction but just sounding like a very confused old man while doing so.
  11. He’s got a point though tbf.
  12. I believe it was actually over brunch, I may be mistaken (there's been so many lies that they kind of all blend into one).
  13. Bookies are never wrong IIRC.
  14. Name change to fullofshit
  15. Jamie DellDays' salty blue tears really are something to behold, bless him 🤣
  16. It’s a beauty. I picked up a few bottles myself from Costco last week, decent little saving compared to standard supermarket prices.
  17. Maybe they did it 😬
  18. Hopefully she wasn’t in the car when the rock got chucked. If she wasn’t in the car though, I wonder how they knew the car was owned by a brown person. Crafty lot these far right loonies.
  19. Quite interesting to see the Chapel Kop and where they’ve segregated from the away end. I wonder if theyll sell seats right up to the stairwell or if more often than not they’ll put netting over the narrow column of seats in the Chapel. Cant really make out the Kingsland segregation. Edit. I’m an idiot, that must be the netting itself. NVM.
  20. Of course she did and much more, she was a mother at 16 then a granny at 37. She knows her way around does big Ange 😍
  21. I drove down Portswood high street an hour ago, very quiet with a lot of shops putting their shutters up. The local councillor has spoken to police, they’ve got officers deployed until early morning but are relaxed that the Portswood bit of it will be minor at worst (they monitor social media and aside from a handful of boastful claims from some anonymous accounts there’s nothing of substance to suggest anything will happen).
  22. Firstly no. I'm not sure why you keep saying "the left" as if its a complete homogenous blob of what "they" wanted during COVID. Personally I never locked down at all, kept going to work every day as I was in an industry that had around 50% of it that was exempt from WFH. And I remain very thankful that was the case, I'd have hated to WFH full time or even worse go on furlough and sit around doing eff all. As for your other point, yes its easy to be wise after the event. Its also why there's a very detailed enquiry that highlight sincere deficiencies even given what we know in hindsight. Not everything the tories did was bad during lockdown, especially during the very early days when the learning curve was massive. But Sunak introducing this scheme without input from the health secretary and his many senior advisers should be called out for the extremely bad call it was; calling it Sunak "doing well" is quite a remarkable statement really.
  23. You mean the Eat Out scheme that was not properly run through senior advisers, the scheme which chief medical officer Sir Chris Whitty referred to as "eat out to help out the virus", and which Sir Patrick Vallance said was "highly likely" to have fuelled considerable extra deaths? That was Rishi doing well, was it? I'd hate to see what you thought he did badly.
  24. Twas ever thus.
